My nearest store (although I've also used others for car servicing) is a large Halfords. It's very well-stocked with both automotive and cycling products. The store is spacious and organized, making it easy to find what you need. As a driver and cycling enthusiast, I appreciate their wide range of products. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, which adds to the overall positive shopping experience.

If leaving a 0 star review was possible then that’s what this store deserves. I came into this store as my daughter asked us for a last minute birthday gift (frozen scooter) we went in to purchase this but wasn’t sure upon seeing the scooter as the height wasn’t adjustable. The DISPLAY scooters were available for customers to see so we brought the scooter down to floor level so we can see if the height was appropriate. Carl rudely came over and said “ i’ll put that up you’re not meant to touch them and walked away without offering his help”.I’ve never met a member of start so disrespectful in my life. He said your child isn’t here for you to measure the height so why do you need to see it. This interaction really triggered myself and my wife as it just didn’t make sense. Carl then proceeded to raise his voice across the store and say “just read the description on the box”. We continued to explain that it didn’t make sense since we were here and we wanted to have a look at the scooter before buying it. We had an audience of members of staff and one named Remy eventually came over, he continued to cut us off and defended his colleague and asked us to leave the store two minutes before closing. These two members of staff shown poor customer service skills and were very poorly mannered. They clearly didn’t want us in the store before closing time as it was new year eve and they wanted to close as quickly as possible. Its a shame as they ruined this birthday for our daughter. Asking for a manager did not help as we asked multiple times but no one was listening and they asked us to leave. Its shameful and disgusting how Halfords who we’ve come to for many years has treated us with such disrespect.

Visited for the first time as we wanted to upgrade our high beams so we can see better at very dark roads without street lights.

Customer service is 10 stars! They helped us find the right bulbs and then fitted them for us!

We will definitely be visiting again! Maybe next time for wiper blades?!

Absolutely unreliable store with fake warranty services . This branch has the worst customer service ever . Carl served us today with completely unprofessional and rude attitude just because of a question we asked about the guarantee and he couldn’t answer it , so he turned the conversation to the argue and his language was so offensive and very clearly showing racist behaviour .
His manager also was so rude. They definitely need more customer service training in first place. Will not recommend this branch at all and will never go there again . They are not even deserve 1 star , absolutely 0 star .

Went in this morning for a break light change. I spoke with an operative at the till (Tom M), who explained they were rather busy but gave me a timeframe to check if it would be convenient for me. I needed to go, so said I'd be back later. Engaged with the same person on my return who provided and came out to change the bulb for me. Courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and swift. It's refreshing to have dealings with people like this. Thank you, Halfords and specifically Tom.'

I bought A bike here two months ago and it got a puncture a few days back. I assumed it had special slime in its inner tubes.
I pumped the tire in the store to get optimum pressure from their pump and spun the wheel as instructed to disperse the slime. When I got home the wheel deflated and I took out the inner tube and isolated the puncture by submerging in it. I went back in a couple of days later and asked if there was slime in the tubes. I was asked to prove I had paid for slime. So I had to go home and produce a receipt. It was also suggested that the slime didn't work because I had multiple punctures.
I wondered if I hadn't actually paid for slime but I found the receipt and I had done so, so I left the bike with them on Sunday.
Two days later I am left a voice message to say that the two month old bike needs £170 worth of repairs and also the tire miraculously remained inflated suddenly and then I am told must not have inflated it at the correct 20 psi why it constantly deflated, but it was very firm when I inflated it at their store. I have good reason to believe the Handle bars were attached incorrectly causing some of the faults such as chain and gear faults but wrongly assumed they were attached correctly exacerbating issues as I am not a bike expert but struggled to reach the left gears. I am poor and ill and my 84 year old mother bought me this bike and accessories for £430 as a gift. I want her to be able to reclaim her money.

addendum: The back tire seems to be gradually deflating again.
