Customer service at this location is absolutely incredible!!! Shane and Hunter have been incredibly nice and personable every time I have rented from this location. They have even gone out of their way to recover items lost in the vehicle that I had forgotten about and ensure they were returned on my next visit. I have rented from nearly every car rental company at the XNA airport and I can say without a doubt that because of Shane and Hunter, Hertz is the go-to agency.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Rented a vehicle and had to extend for a couple more days, when I called I was accused of committing fraud and in an extremely rude manner told me to return the vehicle immediately. Called my bank and was told the agency had put in the wrong billing address which I advised of in the beginning of the process. Regardless she would not understand the situation and stated it didn’t matter and to return immediately tot he airport.

The customer service here is horrible. Specifically from employee Hunter Stine. She was rude and very condescending. Even after telling her I didn’t feel SAFE driving the car across state lines due to the car having flat tires she STILL made NO accommodations. I have been using Hertz for YEARS due to me being in the trucking industry and I have never received such horrible service. If a customer tells you they fear their safety is in jeopardy, why wouldn’t this be apart of the company policy to take these matters seriously ?!

Hunter was amazing! The rental company we had originally booked through (Enterprise) was overbooked and did not have a car for us. We then went over to the Hertz desk where Hunter was able to find us a car for the same price and got us out the door in record time. I think he could tell that we were in a rush and provided the fastest service while still giving us a great customer experience! Thank you, Hunter!

Got a nice upgrade from Thrifty econo car to a Hertz Camry. But you drop off the car about a third of a mile from the terminal. All the other car rental companies have a drop off point a few hundred feet from the terminal. Why must Hertz have their dropoff point so far away?

Hey, everybody! Absolutely terrible experience at Hertz…

one facet was at the national level (Drake Field in Fayetteville does not say “private flights only” in the Hertz app like the Springdale AR one does, but I went ahead and called the Hertz national line to confirm that anyone can pick up a car there..was told it was definitely possible to get a car there without coming in on a private flight…so I reserved a car on the app, got confirmation number and everything…lo and behold, when I got there to pick up, not only as there no car, but that location is closed on Sundays!

So I drive to XNA, where the Part II of Pain started… the agent there is a nice young woman, but it took me 40 minutes for her to take care of the 2 folks in front of me, meanwhile 9 people are stacking up behind me and she’s talking to the folks at the counter about her favorite Turkish food, her friend who’s Turkish and how his mindset is different from his father’s, and how interested she is in history, and heaven knows what else. There’s a place for chat, and a reasonable limit to chat in business situations. Sunday afternoon on 6-2-24 at XNA if anyone at Hertz is listening ?. Also, when I finally got to the counter (being very polite, of course), when I explained that I needed a car, and why, she just flat out said, “I can’t help you”. That’s it, just that.

TLDR rent from someone outside the Hertz family of rental cars at this airport

Let's talk about how this is a franchise location. That means that one, they may or may not accept your prepaid reservation. For me. I had to cancel my original reservation because I used a work card and then I had to use my personal card to get my reservation. Two I was assured that my car was Android Auto capable. Their lineup is 90% Toyota's and Toyota is not Android auto friendly. Now I'm going to have to spend the next week going around Arkansas having to stare at my phone for directions as the only other option was the premium Dodge charger. It is my own fault for not trying to upgrade, they're about 10 people in line when I check back inside and I just couldn't bring myself to wait.

Today I stopped in to rent a car, we waited in front of a desk for five minutes, watching the lady with dark hair and glasses watch a video on her phone. Ignoring us.

When we finally spoke up, she looked especially annoyed and rolled her eyes to speak to us, we asked about renting a car. I didn’t have my credit card with me, and enterprise pointed me there because they accept debit. And she acted like I was stupid for asking.
I explained my situation and she said “we can’t help you.” I asked why, and she explained what we would need to rent a car, almost angrily, I felt threatened and I held up my hands, we ended up taking an Uber home. I will never be renting a car from this company. Especially from this first impression.
