I rented a car in Buellton,Ca . As I was looking for a new cargo van , there was no way I could list a different return location. I purchased a vehicle in pacioma Ca. And was trying to drop off car at nearest location in van nuys , ca . They would not let me do that and After 2 attempts to get corporate to approve, I had to return car to Buellton. This cost me transportation and time to go pick up vehicle the next day 130 miles away. If this is how they treat their customers, I will no longer use Hertz or recommend them again. Plus they keep you on hold for 20-30 minutes. Hire some more competent people.

Terrible experience. Booked a car and when I went to pick up the car I was told that do not have any. I wouldn’t have confidence Hertz will have a car if you show up.

This is an exceptional hertz location! Despite the limitations of being a small, remote location their service is always polite, helpful, organized and efficient, from Beverly and the whole team, and their cars are always beautifully cleaned and in great condition. Plus they really do go above and beyond. When picking up my last rental I was unexpectedly delayed and called the office to let them know. When I arrived Beverly had everything ready to go so I could get to my next appointment on time. Then when I returned my last rental I hadn’t filled up the car with gas because I’d forgotten my wallet. Chris explained that I could use ApplePay on my phone and directed me to the gas station that would take ApplePay. I’m soo appreciative of his exceptional service! The money he saved me is very needed right now. I’ll always use Hertz Buellton any time I need a rental.

Received a dirty rental car and got charged 75$ for cleaning when returning the car. I called but the response was, “there was some sand in the car”. No transparency. Never use it again

Kieth in the Buellton, CA Office, like always was exceptional with service far above the competition. The best service I have ever had. Returns calls quickly, always finds the most appropriate car for my need, and is always ready in advance so checkout and return only takes a minute.
I can't imagine better service. I also appreciate the competitive pricing and the quality of the cars. The cars tend to be newer models which get better gas mileage which can significantly lower the total cost of any rental. I paid only $59.41 for my full size Ford Fusion and probably saved a lot on gas . A fantastic deal for a newer model gas efficient car.

Beverly, the manager, and Keith are incredible -- they went the extra mile to sort out our Ford Edge rental right at closing time. We were almost stranded in Buellton, but Beverly and Keith made it work out, and we're very grateful for that! Great, friendly, and above-and-beyond staff.

The Buellton Hertz located in the Marriott building off McMurray drive is TOP NOTCH. I dealt with a lovely lady named Beverly Snyder. She was very efficient and kind hearted. When I arrived she had a big friendly smile on her face, and was very welcoming. I truly appreciated that aspect of the transaction. I have rented vehicles in other branches but the Buellton branch is my favorite, bar none. Thank you for all of your efforts in making my last minute trip so easy and stress FREE! I'll be back. 😉

My wife and I recently completed one of numerous Hertz rentals at their Buellton office (located in the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott). Beverly, the manager, as well her staff, are always very helpful in meeting and exceeding the needs of their customers. It's also very convenient to have an office locally situated for SY Valley residents. We always appreciate great Customer Service!
