Generally, car rental customer service can be questionable. But this particular location, the service counter employees were very pleasant to deal with. Nice clear voice, no attitude, and actually hoding a conversation. Location is small, but I enjoyed my experience.

We rented an EV car for just over a month. When we picked it up we had a choice of two. Both were dirty and the one we chose had about 40% charge.
Price was good though, I felt we got a good deal.
One negative was two weeks afterwards we got a tolls bill for $49 with an added service charge of $59 which in our opinion is just completely wrong.
Won't go back for that reason. Last time we rented with Enterprise and we were just responsible for the amount of the tolls, no bogus add on service charge.

I rent a lot of cars primarily from Hertz. When I first arrived at this store as President's Circle, I was not "seen" and I waited patiently. Everything after that point, in all my Hertz and other car rental experiences, was one of the best car rental center experiences ever, simply because I felt seen by the manager, John.

John mitigated the first part of my wait and gave me a requested upgrade. He was kind, respectful, and engaged in thoughtful conversation.

I would rent from this location anytime!

DO NOT USE HERTZ!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! back in June, Honda rented my bf a car through Hertz concord, everything was good while we had the car, Honda was supposed to pay for my rental but APPARENTLY hertz “messed up that part” and charged my boyfriend SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. When we called to complain about it they were extremely apologetic and refunded me my money within two days. THEN TWO DAYS LATER, THEY CHARGE MY BOYFRIEND’S CARD AGAIN! When we tried to call again, they said they would have it fixed. That was in August. It is now the middle of December and they still have not refunded my boyfriend his $700 and now they are telling us we have to take legal action if we want our money back… I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING HERTZ! WORSE COMPANY EVER!!

I had a Reservation at 4 pm today at hertz in concord monument first of all when I arrived there was no cars in there lot then I went to the office there was a black dude whit bald 🧑‍🦲 head he was very rude and disrespectful I ask him what’s up men I had a Reservation for today so where is my rental car that I was here to pick up then he said there is no cars available today i ask him again I was like how come cuz I had the Reservation for today at 4 ok then he said it is what it is I got so disappointed 😔 because I paid to uber $ 60 Round trip form my packet never 👎 again IM Renting cars from then

Reserved an electric car a week in advance for a roadtrip but arrived to find they had no electrics, hybrids or comparable mpg cars.

Things happen but no one reaching out in advance or trying to check for another option, other location to go to, or any sort of solution obviously should not.

Used them because my Toyota was being fixed for a recall. Pretty nice staff and manager, very thorough in explaining everything. The 2024 Nissan Rogue was also a pretty good car, no complaints. Staff even gave me a ride back to the dealership. Dude who drove me was pretty cool and laid back. I’d definitely rent again from this location.

I made a reservation for my mother in law a couple of days ago through Priceline. She is an 83 year old woman. The price included her car amount for a 7 day period, her taxes for the car and a $91 collision damage insurance amount for a total of $440 and some cents. Today she went to pick up the car and then they looked up her reservation number and told her that her charge would be $87 dollars over the amount she originally reserved with Priceline due to a higher insurance amount (per day) at that hertz office. On her behalf this afternoon I called to ask them to reverse the amount charged in office and to honor the Priceline amount. They told me they could not see that she had already contracted for an insurance amount on the Priceline website because they cannot see what Priceline quoted her which makes ZERO sense. They knew the car type she had to pick up, the day and time of her pick up, the amount she was to pay per day but NOT that she already had insurance contracted? How do they cherry pick that? When she had explained all this as she yelled at me through the phone, the woman I spoke refused to reverse the extra charge made to my 83 year old mother in law (and I repeat her age because the behavior smacked of taking advantage of an old lady) and told me to call another number and that she would hang up on me if I didn't want to take that number down. I do not understand why I would have to call another number to get this fixed. They CHARGED her there, they can REFUND her there. The yelling during call and the rude hang up were beyond the pale. My husband is currently on the phone now with the branch manager Mr. John who has now resolved the issue to our satisfaction. He was kind and knowledgeable and did not raise his voice and while he took exception to something my husband said, he said so politely while firmly stating his position. The amount originally stated in Priceline will be honored.
