Sorry for the lengthy review but this place sucks!!!
Customer service is non-existent!!! I had a rental pickup scheduled for noon on Saturday. I was 15 minutes late (life happens) for my pickup. The office was closed, door locked. I calked the Hertz 800 line to ask if the location had a lock box with my keys..they do not. This location is closed on Sunday so there was no way to get the car.
I’ve been a Hertz Gold member for over 20 years. At approximately 12:25 the door opened and the employee left the office. We were parked directly in front of the door and spoke to the employee. He informed me that I was late for my pickup and told me his video confirmed that I arrived at 12:18.
The employee knew that I had a car reserved, saw that I arrived but kept the door locked and did nothing to provide a minimum level of customer service by providing the keys to the car (which was located within 20’ of the office).
I’ve rented twice before from this location. Both times the employees I encountered were extremely rude. The negative reviews you read are true and consistent. Responses they provide are platitudes and insincere.

I had the worst customer experience at this location. I made a reservation weeks in advance, yet when I arrived, they had no cars available. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to solve the issue, they blamed me and the holiday season, offering no assistance whatsoever. This left me completely stranded. Thankfully, Enterprise down the street was able to accommodate me last minute. I won’t be returning to this location and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service.

Update:

It’s disappointing to see that my experience is not unique. After reading other reviews, it’s clear that this location has a persistent issue with overbooking reservations and failing to have cars available for customers. This seems to be the norm rather than an isolated incident, which is unacceptable for a service that relies on reliability.

The lack of accountability and effort to resolve the problem only adds to the frustration. I’ll be following up with corporate to ensure they’re aware of the ongoing issues at this location. Hopefully, steps are taken to improve this pattern of poor service and prevent others from being left stranded like I was.

This place is absolutely the rudest to customer, on pickup they where not ready today on return the main guy was yelling at my with my nieces in the cars. All due to her not knowing where to park. This place doesn’t care one bit about customer service not to mention the banged up cars they give. Very rude to and old Hispanic grandmother with children in the car. What kind of training do these people get. 0 stars want to run and hide inside and not apologize to my mother. True “professionals”. The car was soaking wet and wet and was dirty beat and the upholstery. Document your pickup or you will get charged.

I have been renting in this place for over 6mo now, and they are always very friendly and ready with your car, which I really appreciate it.
The express and overnight return is very convenient.

It would be nice if they answered the phone. Every 2 days the tires needed air and I was told I'm responsible to fix the tire. Why don't I just go ahead and do a full oil change, radiator fluid exchange, top off the windshield fluid etc in addition to paying a daily fee plus taxes and insurance.
The car was dirty inside and out. Cabin air filter had mould.No wiper fluid. Never rented a car and needed to buy a febreeze vent clip.

I'm not fond of the vehicles. They "upgrade" me to a 2019 Toyota compact sport suv with well over 40,000 miles. I'm curious what's their definition of an upgrade. Also this car dirty inside and out I found trash and a used mask. It also look like someone tried breaking in before I rented it. I know my insurance company is paying for the rental but get some better vehicles in your lineup.

The African American gentleman behind the desk is very very very slow and very disrespectful. Expect to wait at least 25 minutes while he types up your info (driver's license, etc.) info at the snail's pace. Parking space is extremely limited here.
