I’m very disappointed as I honestly dislike giving bad reviews. However this is very much warranted! How do you stiff your customers knowing they are already going through a difficult time with their car being in the shop. As a company I would try my best to ensure the customer gets the best experience. I have never been double charged at ANY other car rental (for example enterprise down the street) until now. I’m completely upset by the lack of concern and professionalism to try and rectify the situation. I always try to remain fair and understand business is business but it shouldn’t come at the expense of stiffing your customer or taking money from them that is not warranted at all! I will not be doing business here until further notice and I get my concern resolved. fYi the lady that helped me although nice did not say anything of the sort in regards to the charges that would be applied and what the parameters were around the rental she simply said return with a full tank of gas and that was all. She needs to ensure that customers understand Your companies rental agreement unless this is not an honest business ?*Update*** I want to be very transparent although I was upset with my interactions with the main office customer service did an amazing job of rectifying the situation and I’m grateful I was able to solve this! I appreciate the quick response and guidance to get this fixed right away!

I have been renting from Hertz for almost 4 months now. I used to be an Enterprise renter for years but Hertz Car Rental sold me with better prices and more great offers, I highly recommend joining their free Gold Membership as well. The guys here in the Sierra Ave office are so awesome, they're very professional and fast at what they do (10/10). I am always in and out of the office real quick. The other thing I love about Hertz Car Rental is their App it's so easy to navigate through and make reservations and it reminds you of your reservation. BIG THUMBS UP to the guys in the Sierra Ave office. Thank you for such a great experience from the get go. Keep up the amazing work that you both do!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. 2nd time I’ve used this hertz location because my auto body shop uses them. 1st experience was fine. 2nd one has been beyond horrible. When I went to get my Tesla rental they only had 1 available and it had a strong cigarette odor. Even though Hertz has a policy of a non-smoking fleet, the manager Ron said that’s all he has so it’s a take it or leave it. He sprayed a cleaner but it didn’t last long. My kids have asthma so I asked to return it because the smell was unbearable. I was told to come in on Saturday. I called and they said none available, come on Monday.

On Monday I go and the assistant manager Ceasar says he can’t accept the rental back because it’s dirty because of some dirty and grass. He wanted me to go vacuum it and bring it back. I was beyond myself as I’ve never had a rental company tell me this. I had to get my auto body shop involved to get the new rental (which was filthy and covered with bug splatter on front bumper).

After turning in the rental back I got charged $115 even though the auto body shop was paying for the rental. It’s been 3 weeks and Ron has no answer why I got charged.

I hope the auto body shop never uses this horrible rental shop again!

I received a Rental today but it is so annoying to receive a Filthy vehicle not washed. The service from the clerks was good. But honestly this company MUST HAVE THE COURTESY TO PROVIDE CLEAN VEHICLES

Got a discount at the beginning on my vehicle, terrible customer service, got blamed for scratches on the vehicle, which were there already. Didn't train their new person correctly. Tried having me sign a collision report, til FINALLY, after arguing my point, they realized it was their fault. Stressed me out & all I got in the end was a "I'm sorry". Never will I rent from Hertz again. There vehicles are damaged.

UPDATED… To 5 stars! I am Hertz Goldmember and I have rented a lot of vehicles in the past! I spoke to Roy the day before he was wonderful. I give him five stars.!
The vehicle I picked up was also great! The gentleman that helped me out that day, not so friendly and was not able to make sure that my rental went on my gold status! Nor was I any of the benefits of being a gold member! Trying to get a hold of Hertz to get My points put on my account has not been easy either!
I do not like the fact that you can’t drop this vehicle off after hours and put keys in a drop! I Had to keep extending my rental so I could get it there during office hours! Dropping vehicle off today so we will see if rating goes up!
DROP OFF WAS GREAT AND IF YOU GO IN THERE ASK FOR RON

If you are reading this review, get away this place. Never rent a car here if you don’t want getting in a trouble.
You book a car and when be there they don’t have your car. They always do that with everyone.
The manager was stupid and arrogant, I stayed waiting there for more than 2 hours and I saw him doing the same thing with 3 more costumers.
This store's rating is the worst it can be, I don't know how they still have customers. These are uninformed customers like me and others who don't pay attention to the rental company's qualifications.

I've only been here once, but that was enough. Terrible experience. I reserved a car online. When I got to this location there was only one person working the desk, and there were two people already waiting ahead of me. It took him 45 minutes to get to me. Once he did he informed me they were out of cars.

According to Caesar working the desk, Hertz will take reservations no matter what cars are available, and if they don't have your car or any other car available, tough luck for you. He couldn't offer another type of car, or check with other locations. He recommended trying the airport which would be more of a hassle and more expensive.

This is first time I needed to rent a car in a long time, and luckily a different rental company up the street was able to fulfill a same-day reservation. Thanks to this experience I will not be renting from Hertz again in the future, and I'll be sure to share my experience with anyone who will listen.
