My drop off was scheduled for today, turns out everything from them has been shut off beside the phone. Do not bother with calling them either.

The reroute for drop offs and pick ups was potentially 47th Hertz, but that area is meant for Uber Hertz only. The only other viable option is downtown Sacramento along with them only being able to drop off within a 5 mile radius.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Extremely disappointing experience for my parents picking up at car today. Due to delayed flight they were ONE hour late to pick up their car. The extremely rude manager Samuel García showed zero empathy and wanted to charge them $300 more for another reservation. Horrible customer service and lack of professionalism. Will file a formal complaint with corporate, file a complaint with BBB and will never rent with Hertz again.

Listen to everyone-do not rent from here. Rented a long term vehicle due to an accident, they would constantly forget when I was returning the car and would call me everyday, forget that the rental was extended, and on top of all that, tacked on a Sirius radio charge and an additional car coverage charge that I did not consent to or ask for. Insurance did not cover it, so I had to pay out of pocket. Good luck trying to speak to a manager, when I tried to dispute the charge I never got a call back. Shady shady shady. Do better.

Easily the worst Hertz I’ve ever experienced in my years as a President’s Circle member. The cars are run down, the office is run down with the bathroom converted into an office, and the customer service is horrendous; “manager” Samuel needs to be reprimanded, if not fired, for his lack of professionalism and utter incompetence. I’ve heard horror stories about this location before renting but didn’t think I’d experience anything similar given my elite member status. However, they are running a scam operation at this location by adding unjustified fees to most renters final bill, with president’s circle support telling me they’ve had the most complaints from this location out of all of the Sacramento locations. I was able to correct the error with the billing department but I will never return to this location, and I will continue to work with Hertz until this location is dealt with properly.

Also for any future reviewers, please know that Samuel has already stated there is no “Kim” who works here as an owner, so whoever is replying to these reviews as the “owner” is acting in fraud, unless Samuel lied about that as well when he said there was no manager above him.

Renters beware, schedule your pick up for ANY location other than Franklin Blvd, you’ll be grateful you did.

Hi I had just came to this car rental place to check it out and mind you I had followed all the steps accordingly to rent a car. I provided every document and the cash was never an issue. I was told to wait almost 30 minutes just to check on my reservation that was in fact accepted. They also didn’t give me the car I requested and doesn’t mention it and After waiting 30 long minutes I was told I could no longer rent a car due to the fact that I booked before business hours as stated by the man working the front receptionist. He then says I can’t use my debit card as a form of payment even though their policy states I would need to provide such documentation as utility bill / insurance (which I had ready in hand and digital)
I asked why and he said one because it’s a debt card and two “it was after business hours”
Such a horrible experience for my first rental and I will definitely NOT be coming back here. It was a huge waste of time maybe you should change your requirements since I was denied every one of those. Then the man in the front says “I should’ve called you first instead” and laughed and he was rude and under stress by other customers. Just a heads up this is not a legit car rental company. Worst experience ever.

Rented here on short notice for a family issue. Stacey was super sweet and helped find me the best deal. I asked if I could turn the rental in at another location and she worked most of the day to find a solution that was affordable. Hertz is lucky to have managers like her!

Didn't get car i reserved and paid in advance. Should've gotten mid sized SUV instead got a Prius. I know i was late 1.5 hour late but they should've called me. But no calls.
