Closed temporarily for unknown reasons. The problem for me was, I could order online, even it has been closed. Found out only try to pick up car there!

Booked a car and needed to be picked up from a nearby collision shop. I called the number given with option #5 but nobody picked up. After multiple tries called the main customer service number. They pulled up my reservation and tried to call the local center but could not get through either. It was well past their lunch break as I called around 2PM. Probably never returned from the lunch break. Customer service said they will escalate (whatever that means). Waited another 30 mins but nothing. Location still not reachable. Called customer service again and this time they can't even find my reservation. Either the location or the previous customer service agent (one who was going to escalate) just cancelled my reservation. I switched to Enterprise - much smoother. Hertz are so incompetent.

It is the WORST car rental place!!! I rented for 5 days but they charged my credit card for 7 days!! No one answers the phone at the local branch and no one returns phone call! Practically unable to get in contact with their main office! They still own me 2 days car rental fees back to my credit card!!! The worst ever! Dishonest! If I can give a 0 start I would have! I do NOT recommend renting any car from this place!

Quick, easy and an amazing service from this Hertz location. I would definitely recommend this location for a car rental. I picked up my car from the Fremont Auto Body Shop, and I was told by the staff of this Hertz location to leave the rental car there, and they would pick it up later that day. Thank you very much to the staff who helped me!

I got a brand new car, which was great. The location is inside the double tree hotel. Take the entrance of 880 bistro and turn left then you will see the counter. The staff is friendly but the process was taking too long. I don’t think that’s Hertz standard. My car was having service at Winn VW so Winn sent me here for a loaner car service.

Reserved a car for today at 12PM, when I arrived I was told “Give us 10-15 minutes we have to clean a car up for you”. Okay, understandable. I wait 30 minutes to be told “Well now we don’t have any cars remaining, but I’d be happy to give you a ride to another Hertz location.”

Why was I allowed to reserve a car on Friday for Monday, if Hertz didn’t have the vehicle available?

Avoid Hertz at all costs.

This company is straight up SCAMMERS!!! I had a reservations through my insurance company. Which paid 25$ per day for the rental. Dropped my car off at the body shop. And was picked up by their driver's. The driver was nice, but kept on insisting/ advice that I take the Tesla. Spoke to this lady. She said when I'm done. I can just drop the car off at the body shop. Since they worked with the body. Everything was fine. On May 24th, I gotten a call from Hertz. Stating that I haven't returned the rental yet. But the Body Shop has informed them that my car was completed. I reached out to the Body shop, the shop said that they have been trying to reach Hertz to come and pick up the car. But no one answered. Next thing I know I was charged $118.34. Instead of 25$, that the insurance has on my reservations. I tried to call this location back , no one answered. I tried again on May 22nd, May 23, May 24, May 25th and May 26th. Phone kept on ringing. I called Hertz customer service. All I got was call this number. Call the number they give me. And was told to call another number. Seriously? this is the first time renting with Hertz, and will be the last. Shady business practices and fraudulent activities.

CSAA sent me to Hertz for a rental while my car was being repaired. After returning the car, they charged me over $100 more because they gave me a bigger car then what CSAA authorized - without telling me! I called the next day and was told they'd refund me. Seven weeks later, still no refund and the manager will not return my call. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
