Charged my account 800. 00 when ford was also paying through my warranty . Then said they are having problems with their system charging people randomly. Tried to originally tell me ford wasn’t authorizing the payment, but After speaking to ford they admitted it was their mistake. People worked there are very nice but this hicup did happen, money was reimburse when I returned the car . Lucky I checked by bank account that day.

Never renting with this place again. I went in to rent a car. I had mentioned to the guy that I was having trouble with trying to get my car fixed. That life was hard for a single mother of four. He seemed as if he wanted to help me. Boy was I wrong. He just wanted to help himself. This man would make multiple charges to my account before every weekend. Eventually they would be returned. So when he took $3,000+ from my account and said it was a “preauthorized hold” that it would be returned when the rental car was returned the following Saturday I thought to give him the benefit of the doubt. I return the car, Saturday comes and nothing, weeks pass and nothing, months and nothing. So I email the guy and no response. I let more time pass and tell him I will be looking to talk to his supervisor if my funds aren’t returned like he said would happen. Still to this day I have not received my “preauthorized hold” in return. Every single weekend since I was renting their car my account would be overdrawn from their extra charges. He made me cancel the reservation that I had made myself online so that itself should have been my warning. I hope this reaches corporate. Thanks Charles for draining my bank account and ruining my kids Holidays…

I made a reservation a week ahead of my pick up date for a full-size vehicle at North Fresno HLE. At the time of pick-up, the employee told me he only had EVs - 2 of them, 1 fully charged, 1 not. About 5 more customers walked in & were all thrown off on the fact they had no other type of vehicles. He suggested to modify their reservation & pick up at the airport, however, he didnt disclose that it would be at a higher price. I ended up taking what they had because I already had plans & did not want to risk losing the little options they had (7-passenger van or EVs). I asked if there was a price difference between the full-size vs the EV, he said no, however, he didnt mention that the insurance would be more (I saw it on the rental record after the fact.) I asked if he thought I would be okay with using an EV since it was my first time & would be going out of town, he said all I had to make sure of doing was to charge in Bakersfield & LA to & from. He suggested I could exchange at another location so long as I said that the car was not holding up a charge. I was really nervous about leaving town the next day in an EV as it was just my 1-year old & I.
The 2023 Niro EV was dusty from the outside (inside was clean). I took it to a car wash since the windshield was so dusty. I thought about the EV for the rest of the day, drove it around & even tried doing a test charge. I saw it was not charging after 30 mins so I went to the airport for an exchange. On my way to the airport, I got an alert about the washer fluid being low.
The staff from North Fresno HLE were very non-chalant. I understand that it might not be their personal issue why they have low inventory but at LEAST a heads up would have been nice, an empathic attitude would have helped AND a different resolution is needed (besides modify your reservation, go elsewhere & pay more).

FAST SERVICE!!! They have the best here. Bruce is efficient (man he knows his stuff!) Jessica, Brian, and Charles took my calls and helped me through my rental process. They are all really good at what they do.

Avoid!!! Very pleasant pick up, however drop off was a complete joke! Location was closed, even though it was meant to be open from 9am - 12pm. No drop box service for the key. Loads of angry customers trying to drop off and pick up vehicles. Phone numbers on door or website no help. Ended up having to leave the car there and bring the key with us as we were due on a bus to San Francisco. Made sure to take plenty of pictures and emailed customer service. Going to have to take further time out of our holiday to deal with travelling to a San Francisco location to return the key. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

First time writing a review. Never had a problem renting cars from this Hertz. I highly recommend this Hertz over any rental company or any other Hertz in Fresno. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. 5 stars

I have just driven off in a Nissan Altima from Hertz. Bruce was the gentleman who provided me with great customer service. I was in and out quickly and without hassle. We looked over the car, and everything checked out.
I will update this review when I return the car to another location and after the contract has been settled.
In the meantime, everything is 100%
