My wife came here to get a rental after she was in a wreck that was not her fault. We met with Don Stuckey and he was very condescending to her. She's 26 and looks very young but it was very infuriating how condescending he was to her saying things like: "don't smoke in the car or let any of your little friends either," "you're the only one allowed to drive the car unless you ever get married," and when she joked about not having friends "of course you do, you're a piece of work." He was visually and audibly upset that the only car that was a available to rent to her was a 2024 vehicle and hesitated when handing her the keys and paper work.

Along with all of that the office was disgusting. Looking up from the seat I was sitting in there was a cockroach in the light. We won't be coming back to this location in the future

Made a reservation a couple of days ahead of time to drive to my mother’s funeral. Got there for the pickup and they told me they couldn’t do one day reservations. I told them I was never notified that my reservation couldn’t be filled. They informed me they were too busy to notify me and to try somewhere else. I’ve rented from these guys before but will never again.

I was out of a car for three weeks due to an accident and Don over there at Hertz took care of me! Service was great and the car was awesome!

I have used this company a few times over the years. If you read my review on Enterprise rent a car, this one is pretty much the same. They give their best rates to insurance claims. All others are 300-400% more. I forgot to mention when I did my Enterprise review, is that I used these companies for business travel purposes, at airports. I wonder how an individual or a small company are dealing with this? Not good I would imagine. The manager at this location was nice to me, and admitted they cater to insurance companies. More so now because of the tornadoes we’ve dealt with here locally.

My vehicle was totaled in a car accident on March 2. My insurance company recommended a different car rental company than Hertz, but they weren’t any help. So, I called over to Hertz on Reservoir Road and was taken care of immediately. Once I arrived, I found the office to be a bed of activity. Its three employees worked as a well-oiled machine which allowed me to get the car I wanted, quickly, and with no hassles. They explained all the details and sent me on my way.

I needed to revisit the Hertz team to transfer the car from my insurance company to me because I used the car for a business trip. After that I dropped the car off because of traveling abroad. When I returned, I called Hertz for the second time. Although they didn’t have any vehicles to rent at their location, they asked if I was willing to pick a car up at the Airport, which I was and did, and I was on my way. Again, zero hassles.

The reason I have taken my time to write this recommendation is because I rarely have positive experiences with service organizations (I travel up to 300 days per year for my job). Hertz rental on Reservoir Road is a different story and that’s because of its leadership and how they endeavor to treat their customers.

I would like to give a shout out to Larry Johnson the manager, SPECIAL recognition to Kamille Agee for ALWAYS being there and working feverishly to delight me, and to Don Stuckey for supporting the team.

Finally, I have been a National Car Rental customer for 20 years. I think I might change to Hertz now!

Horrible customer service from Larry Johnson.He is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, always on his phone and doesn't pay attention to customers. Mike and Don are great.

I thought I had reserved a car through this location via the online site this week, but had been lied to by the company. When I arrived to pick up the car I had booked online, I was told they did not have a car available, and the only vehicle they did have was a mini van they would have charged double the price for. The van would have been fine if I had been charged the same rate I was told the car would be, but I was rudely told they could not do so. After leaving the store front, we said "Thanks for nothing", and were responded to with "you're welcome, glad we could help". The audacity of that still has me fuming. This experience has completely ruined our vacation, where we're supposed to have a good time with family.
