LOCATION CLOSED!
Arrived to pick up rental. Nobody there. An hour on the phone and the 4th corporate agent informs us this branch is permanently closed. Showing open on website. Where do we get a car? No help at all. Thoughtless customer service. No notification sent to us. Still have an open reservation to drop off a car there in a few weeks! Called two neighboring city offices. Phones disconnected. Nothing for 60 miles. Absolutely disgusting experience.

Denise Wiggins is a joke! The expectations you would want from a store manager will not be achieved here. She’s on a rant talking about how she’s been there 20 years but can’t seem to practice good customer service. I’m seeing in these reviews that there are others having a similar experience. She had no remorse to be talking badly about her own job because the phone was ringing too much and talks so loud that everyone can hear her complaining. I’m trying to explain to her what her colleague explained to me about a specific car that would be available and her response was “well I don’t know why he would tell you that because he should know better and I’m going to need to hear this from him myself and these are MY CARS and I’m telling you that it don’t work like that”. Lady, I never told you to explain to me HOW IT WORKS because I don’t work there and you don’t need to be yelling at me. What you needed to explain was whether or not the car that I reserved would be available or not and whether I would have to wait knowing that I had already traveled back and forth several times over the last 24 hours trying to get an available rental. Seriously ridiculous. I made sure to contact customer service too to report her unprofessional behavior. There should be no reason at all that someone who claims to have been there 20 years should ever treat a customer like that. It’s bad enough that people are going through a rental experience because of some form of personal inconvenience and this is not something that’s needed to make it 10x worse.

Started off with a good experience. They have a very limited selection of vehicles. I had my rental for over 30 days because my car was totaled. I was charged an extra $8/day for an “upgrade charge” for a Chevy Malibu and when I asked why, I was told “that’s the price of the vehicle”. Well, online the price didn’t show an extra $8. The total for that extra charge was $296. I called Hertz customer service the next day and they refunded me within a week.

Denise is RUDE! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Two reservations cancelled because they don’t have cars AND they couldn’t take us because we were 9 minutes after our reservation. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR CAR RENTAL!

Customer service sucks. Had an issue with a rental from Hertz, and they told me they couldn't help me. For me to break down on the side of the road and call roadside assistance to have me towed because they did want to deal with the car and tow their own car. Go to enterprise or any other rental business. They care more about their customers. Last time, I do business with Hertz

I arrived at this location at 11am. The representative left a note on the door informing they'd be back in ten minutes. They returned 30 minutes later. I ordered a suppliers choice, I was told I had a choice between an Electric Car or a Camry. I chose the Camry and was told it was $8 more per day. I was forced fed the EV which was an absolute nightmare. I got there at 11am and didn't leave the office until 12:45pm yet my paperwork said I left with the car at the above vehicle. I was detained longer than I needed. I was going to a family gathering in Arnold CA. There was one EV charger which had a line of three cars ahead of me. I ended up stopping in Jamestown at Chicken Ranch Bingo where the charge took 2 hours. By the time I got home my anxiety was through the roof. Do not go to this Hertz.

Is it just this Hertz or every Hertz that takes 2 hrs to get a car when there are barely 4 people waiting. Absolute waste of time. The agent Deniece Wiggins was just chatting with a customer for 30 mins leaving all of us infuriated.
