if only the stars to rate Hertz with add negative numbers I'm not sure that they would have a negative number low enough to score on customer service. HORRID would be the word I would use. I was literally stunned and shocked that somebody was trying to rent a car from was talking to me like not even anyone in my whole life is talk to me while I was trying to rent a car.
I have never rented a vehicle in my life. I have a wedding near Huntsville and needed to rent a van because of the luggage and number of people. I talked to the same guy in there about three weeks ago while next door eating I stopped by and he gave me an estimate. So I went back in today and it was the same guy but he was no longer a nice person. He was rude to the core. I have never experienced such horrid customer service. He even at one point told me he never had anyone ask 10 questions. I was asking about insurance and unlimited miles and the insurance in case the vehicle breaks down things like a normal person would ask about and he was totally a different person. He was very rude. I booked the car because my trip is coming soon. I asked if I could be guaranteed a van as I thought that was the whole purpose of a reservation. Needless to say after such rude service, I then went to another rental car company That was a dealership, to see if they could guarantee a van and yes they could guarantee a van and they were so nice. They even took me out and showed me the vehicle and showed me all the features. So I cancelled with Hertz I even told the new place that in all my years working and living in the south, I never had such a rude experience with anyone ever. It was almost like they didn't want my business like they were trying to deter me from even renting, which is weird. So I cancelled with Hertz. You get much better customer service and can pick your type of vehicle at a car dealership that rents. . So glad I went there instead. It was like going from hell to heaven as far as the horrible service I received at HERTZ. The other differences that Hertz didn't even print me out like a registration invoice or anything when I made the reservation they just wrote my reservation number on a piece of paper like just hand wrote it, I asked if he could print it out for me and he said no we don't want to waste the paper that was the craziest thing I ever heard so at the other car place didn't even have to ask. They printed it down on a piece of paper and even circled their number. Bottom line is if you want good customer service, don't go to HERTZ. Especially if you are a new car renter.

The guys are always accommodating at the West Mobile HLE location. I'm glad to know they've reopened so I don't have to go all the way to the Beltline for a rental vehicle. The best place to rent a vehicle. No problems , no hassle . They do Accept debit cards, but it has ahold on it for $500 plus the cost of the vehicle Rental. All the Associates was very nice. The only problem I have with this location is not open on Weekends Or holidays. I think if it's a rental company it needs to be open , During that time.

Stacey is the best Customer Service Rep I've ever met. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because when I reserved at the "Theodore" location according to google, and arrived to pick up my car, that location turned out to be a satellite office. That location should have a separate phone number, especially considering the next closest location is a few zip codes away.
