Horrible service. We paid for an SUV with a trunk that can hold 5 large suitcases. We received a car that only could take 2, because they car we requested was not available anymore. If we wanted to get a bigger car, we had to pay extra. This is not how it works! Downgrading because you cannot deliver is absolutely not done.
We ended up driving with 4 People (2 kids) with 4 big suitcases and 3 small ones with 2 suitcases in the trunk, 2 on the seat in the bag. The 2 kids and the person on the passenger seat had to carry both a small suitcase on their laps. Absolutely unacceptable!

Also, the engine oil was at a dangerous low level when we received the car

Edit: the fact that this is your response proofs that you don't want to deliver to your customers. We have paid for a certain car(size). If you're not able to deliver this, you should provide a suitable solution. Again, offering a downgrade without price reduction is just ridiculous. Clearly, you don't have a clue about what custolmer service is.
I also don't see an answer on the fact that the engine oil was critically low and safety was at risk.

I hope you take a look to all your latest reviews and come to insight yourself that your service is below zero and negatively affecting the Hertz brand.

Cream, Creammmmm, and CREAM! I had a Hertz reservation when I got to the airport at MOB. From the Hertz desk to the luggage carousel, there was a line. Cream moved through the line with such grace and professionalism. You would have assumed there were no previous customers and no line when my mother and I reached the counter. Cream exuded such grace, patience, and wonderful spirit. He succeeded in upselling us and making sure we had the vehicle we required for our week-long vacation in MOB. I'm grateful, Cream. He must get promoted right away. If all Hertz representatives were like Cream, I wouldn't shop anywhere else than Hertz when I needed a rental car.

Waiting for a car literally takes longer than the flight in from Atlanta. Made a reservation weeks in advance, no car available. Several other people waiting. Would recommend Uber and then go some place else to rent a non-Hertz car. Personnel at airport could not care less about customers.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this location. The employees showed a total disregard for my safety issue with the car, leaving me to resolve the matter by calling customer support myself. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Reply to Hertz's AI generated response. There is no need to escalate to local management. Please look for my complaint as I escalate it to the DOT.

Absolutely the worst car I have ever . The car seats are so nasty. I had to drive sitting on a paper Bag The only reason I accepted the car is because I had doctor's appointments I had to get to. And this was the only car they had available.
The car smells like a wet rag This car belongs in a junkyard.

Another Hertz experience, desk clerk was great, she was friendly, and very helpful. (Opposed to last guy who I will not deal with again)
Car was great, but price always is much more than the quoted price, and remember do not keep an extra day because the prices will go back to some other schedule and you will be better off dropping off and renting at another place. Last time when I wanted to extend my time they would not let me keep the rate I was currently on, so I did just that, turned it in and went to the next desk.

When I received my full size SUV, it wasn’t washed because the front/windshield was covered with dirty and bugs. Inside the vehicle was trash left from the last person who rented it. It was also los on washed fluid.

The lady said they didn't have any cars available(she said it in a not gentil tone) and the next day I had to come back, I did a reservation and the lady said they cannot rent me a car because of my card, then her collègue (man) told her they can if she doed something in the system, then she tried but at the end she didn't want to give me the car, she was rude and unprofessional. I only and urgently needed the car for 4 days for my work travel.
