Been here a few times and had a fine experience . This last time I reserved a car for 5:00pm. I showed up 5:05pm and the employee was clocked out locking up. I told him I had a reservation for 5:00pm, he said I'm sorry but we are closed. I asked why was I allowed to reserve for 5:00pm, he replied with "you have to show up a little before 5:00pm. There was nobody here so I assumed". 1 star for me because apparently 5 mins late means no service.

I used my AAA discount to rent a 7+ passenger vehicle on their website. Apparently I was supposed to get a Nissan Pathfinder. I arrived and was told that this vehicle was not in their inventory, and was offered a Chevy Malibu and some other small SUV. The price was good, but the customer service was poor. There was one gentleman working and several people inside waiting. I spent 33 minutes in there. I needed a vehicle so I rebooked for a full size sedan and was given a Nissan Rogue Sport that smelled like it had several dogs in it at some point. The return process took 13 minutes, as there was one person doing "computer things" and the other was taking care of customers. Never coming here again....I'd rather rent a car from the airport from here on out.

Do not rent a car from Hertz Rancho Cucamonga,You will receive the worst treatment. Be ready for a Rude staff , impolite the level of respects less than zero be ready for a very dirty car from inside and outside and they don’t care about that ,my advice to you guys ,Check the car from inside and outside before take it home ,because the pictures in the contract are old and not up to date and the adviser refused to update as he told me: take your pictures and keep it for your reference I don’t have time to update it. check the gas they put for me a wrong information not the same in the car ,than check if there any dents or scratches.
If you want to rent a car from this place, come early, and take your appointment at 4 or before don’t take it after that otherwise they will kick you out and you will not receive any help or inquiries even the contract .So i call the customer service to raise complain, about the dirty car because I can’t let my kids sit in it. So I explain to them the situation and i talk to the supervisor Sophia she told me the solutions is to keep the car or return it to different place and they will charge you for the 1 st day 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This deserves zero stars. Made a reservation and PREPAID for my car for 11:00am. I walked in at 11:02am and they tried to blame ME for them not having a car ready. They told me because of Spring Break and that I wasn't there exactly at 11:00am that they gave my reservation away. The cherry on top? They tried to DENY ME a refund for being two minutes, TWO MINUTES, past the hour. I cannot believe I had to ARGUE for my refund. The fact they tried to hide behind shameful policy to keep MY money for NO service just highlights the shady culture behind those walls. Sorry I hit more red lights than expected, wow. Absolute scummy and predatory behavior. Avoid this place at all costs. They will find every possible way to screw you over. In what world would any business do this to their customers? I will never go back now and neither will my family members. I will pay more money anywhere else just to avoid giving you my money. And to blame me for your incompetence, horrible customer service, and predatory business practices! Either Hertz only hires incompetent people, or they need to retrain this franchise owner (perhaps both). I would be embarrassed to have my customers leave reviews like this, let alone have them get treated like this. This place basically responds to every 1 star review with the same meaningless, and unthoughtful canned response. This place really could care less about the customer. I will also be emailing HQ about the full situation.

This is a little office wedged in a small shopping center. That being said, the operator and staff are very helpful.
I had a few issues that were quickly and fairly resolved. They were not the problem, but an outside agency messed up some logistics. The on-site staff stepped up and immediately remedied the situation.

Great people. They stayed after hours so I could return my car since I work 9-5 everyday. They also let me gas it up before return! Lovely guys who went the extra mile to take care of me and they worked around my schedule. Will be back!

I prepaid for a compact sedan and when I arrived the sales rep told me the only thing that was available was an electric SUV. He told me that if I wanted anything else I would have to pay extra. Why on earth would I need to pay extra when it was the establishment's fault? It's not like I just made a reservation, I PREPAID. He told me I had no other choice and at that point it was too late to go anywhere else. I told him I was concerned about having to charge it because I was on a time crunch, in fact one day I would have to drive 4 hours straight, early the morning to get to work. He assured me that it ran 250 miles on a full charge and took about 45 minutes to an hour to charge fully. None of this was true. He didn't explain to me that it took 45 minutes to an hour just to charge to 80%. And the 80% charge got me AT MOST 155 miles, 155 is nowhere near 80% of 250. I also charged it at my hotel overnight and when it claimed it was fully 100% charged it only charged to 212 miles, not the 250 that the representative claimed. And in actuality I only got about half of those 212 miles before I ran out of charge. It wouldn't even hold the minimum range. At another charging station, 45 minutes got me approximately 90 MILES OF CHARGE. And 1.5 hours only got me about 130 miles charge. Mind you I ALWAYS used the hypercharger, the ultra fast charger the sales rep recommended.
The mileage was also completely inaccurate, I burned through those miles far quicker than in actuality even when driving conservatively and using no accessories, it showed that I was using up excessive kilowatts. At one point I even had to backtrack because my phone said that I could easily make it to the next charging station with about 40 miles to spare, but after getting closer it became clear there was no way I would make it, so I had to turn around and find the previous charging station. The morning I had to drive 4 hours to get to work, I was incredibly late for work because I already stopped once to get a charge and needed to get a second charge to make it there, even though by what the rep said I should have been able to get to work without stopping at all. So I had to speed to get to work and I got a speeding ticket, my first in decades. And I was still an hour late to work.
I spent half my trip looking for charging stations, driving to charging stations, and waiting at charging stations, at times late at night. I wasted hours in parking lots spending precious limited time I had on my trip as well as giving up much needed sleep in order to charge it. The last couple days I had the car I had planned another road trip but after my experience did not want to deal with the hassle of hours wasted charging it so completely gave up on that trip, essentially wasting the last couple days I had the car. I wasted hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours, not to mention all the time and hassle. It's worth going to a more reputable company in the future, it will save a lot of money, not to mention time, in the long run.
