We recently took a short trip to Sonoma and rented a car from Hertz. We ended up with a fantastic vehicle that was incredibly smooth to drive. The representatives were friendly, professional, and made the experience seamless. Thank you, Hertz team!

I am a fairly frequent Hertz customer, President's Circle member, and generally have been happy with the service given by other Hertz locations. Anyway, I booked a vehicle a month in advance for a weekend trip to wine country but when I approached the counter at the Santa Rosa airport to pick up my keys I was told there were no vehicles available, None. It wasn't a matter of being too late or early. I arrived at my reserved time, no apologies, just we have no vehicles, deal with it. They could put me on the waiting list but had no idea when or if a vehicle would be available. Awesome start to our weekend! Luckily next door at Ace Rental they had an oversized, gas-guzzling boat of an SUV available for about $150 more than my reservation with Hertz. It was the only vehicle remaining, so I took it. Walked to the Ace lot and found the lone car in the area, however next lot over was the Hertz lot with 5 vehicles parked! (Pic attached). Whether it's laziness or incompetence someone at the corporate level really needs to look at this location.

Nice enough people but the online system repeatedly lets you reserve vehicles only to have them tell you they cannot "honor" the reservation. Its a total joke and the reason these mergers should not be allowed 🙁 --its not just Hertz, but Dollar, Avis, Thrifty, etc---they advertise under every brand

Had reservation at 9pm. Flight delayed landed at midnight. Ubered to hotel for the night ubered back to pick up car after being guaranteed my prepaid reservation directly with hertz would be valid for 24 hrs. Showed up next day at 8am, front desk person said we don’t roll over cars to the next day and we don’t even have enough cars for everyone on our list today. They said you gotta deal with corporate if you want to refund or get compensated even though the prepay option was non cancellable without a $100 fee.

Went next door to enterprise and was taken care of. Terrible business process.

I mean what kind of staff do they have on the phones at this company in Santa Rosa California? They don't have the humility to treat people who don't speak English. It can't be that a company of this type of business doesn't have staff who speak Spanish, but well that's another issue. The thing is that it's not fair that they even hang up the phone on you twice and simply say that you were very rude, it was a woman, twice the same person. I don't think she should work answering the phone. I will never request service there again.

I want to add that all the staff who answer phone calls from De be fully human regardless of languages ​​and races, I will publish this comment on social networks about this experience that I had so that my countrymen can be careful not to feel bad in front of this person as he is.

I interacted with a Hertz Santa Rosa employee during our flight connection delay, informing him that we would be late to the rental counter. He was extremely helpful and instructive. He assured me that he would keep an eye on flight, and hold the car for us, which he did. The employee at the counter was very welcoming when we arrived, and when we returned the car. Customer service was exemplary from start to finish. The car was clean and perfect for our travel needs for the extended weekend.

I reserved a car online, went to pick it up and was told they did not have the class of car I had reserved. I have rented a lot of cars in my days, Usually if this happens they upgrade you for free. I asked about that. The clerk was extremely rude and told me I would have to pay the upgraded price. Again, complete rudeness from him. I would have paid the extra charge as I needed a car. But he was so rude I just left. Then he had the gall to charge me a few for not picking up the car I had reserved!

Unprofessional behavior over the phone. I just called to get regional manager for Santa Rosa. Talked over me and hung up. Hertz locations in santa rosa have no manners. Young lady on the phone should not be hanging 2x up on customers and refuse to help. I use to be a frequent customer but Enterprise would never do this to customers. Do not use hertz in Sonoma. You're asking for trouble. Zero customer service.
