Inexpensive, clean, quiet and comfortable. We were camping at Joshua Tree NP and it was cold and windy. What a welcome refuge. Worth every penny. The rooms are basic, but have the essential amenities. Bottomline: we were so grateful and would stay again.

Clean, spacious room, good contact before on early check in time. Has fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv, and wifi. Nothing fancy but perfect to crash at the end of a day in the park. Don't expect high quality, everything is basic. But does the trick.

I had a great stay at this motel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless as well. The motel is also conveniently located near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

We enjoy great value motels more than 4 stars now. Great location, comfy room and good service. Joshua tree entrance is very close. Great scenes all around. Will stay again!

We've only been here an hour but felt the need to write a review immediately. I will update later, as we are here for three nights. It's 91 degrees, and when we walked into our room at 4:30ish the A/C was not turned on. Here we are an hour later with curtains shut and room still isn't cool. ||Also, just like every other hotel/motel we've stayed during our trip there is an ice bucket. But this place charges for freaking ice!!! We went and bought a bag...but how will it stay cool as we only have a fridge, no freezer? These are very small things that, I don't care how much or how little you pay for a room, should be included. If you have to raise your rates $5-$10/night, DO IT!!!

Had the smallest room in the place. Grateful i got a room. The towels were thin and old, the pillows shot. It wasnt very comfortable but it was worth it for the festival i was at

High Desert Motel is an old motel that I found to be very affordable and convenient. Room was real clean and had a retro feel. It gives me the impression it was built in late 80’s or early 90’s, stays true to that aesthetic. For the price I was happy with my stay, and everything worked great. 👍 It’s definitely one of the most affordable in the area. I’d definitely stop here again.

Typical American Highway Motel. Upstairs room was well kept and renovated. Relatively silent considering it faces a busy Highway. Location is convenient on main Highway near bars, restaurants and the entrance to Joshua Tree park. Shower could have more pressure. Wi-Fi is good. Parking space sufficient considering number of rooms.
