I'm going to pass the phone to my son, since he was the last to ride it, to tell you how the bike performs now following the service it received from Hillside CycleWorks......

Hey DJ this is Joel, extremely in love with that bike. It feels like a completely different bike now. Put around 120 miles on the bike on two separate rides. It handled great and not once did it require more than one kick to get started. Never over heated and the engine never cut out with the clutch in while in first gear when coming to a stop (it used to do that quite often). Even after sitting all night in 30 degree weather all it took was one kick to get started. The power band was smooth and fast, much faster it seems like than before. It shifted smoothly and I was able to get into some sections where I was able to have it wide open and it felt as if it was passing brush at sonic speed haha. It didn't even backfire nor did the pipe get red hot towards the night. It handled everything great, from washes, woops, and rock climbs with everything in between. Thank you for the work on the bike, I'm excited to hopefully start preparing for some racing on it soon.

Met this repair guy Drew at Bert's Mega Mall. He did a great job rebuilding my carb and petcock on my DR350S. Runs like new now. Quick service and a fair price. Thanks Drew!

I am glad I found DJ. I had leaky carbs, and DJ fixed them quickly at a fair price. He takes care of the bike on his own. Highly recommend DJ.

Took my DRZ400 to Drew for some carb cleaning and added 3x3 mod. He went above and beyond by installing an aftermarket muffler tip to get even more air flow since I didn't want to get an aftermarket FMF Q4 exhaust and making sure my bike is looking clean again. I had a melted side panel from from my saddlebag touching the exhaust pipe and he was able to find me an extra panel and got it replaced for me. He even went and changed my stock gearing for me for better street use. The bike now accelerates like a dream and purrs like music to my ears! I've owned a couple DRZ400 in the past and none was as tuned as well by Drew. Wished I had taken my bike to Drew earlier.

I called Hillside Cycles for a repair on my 2022 Yamaha R7 exhaust. I spoke
to DJ and he told me he didn’t do that kind of repair but advised me to go to Yoshimura directly. Took the time to get me the their phone number. I called and was able to get my exhaust fixed in one day and no charge because it was under warranty. Had it not been for DJ, I would’ve had to pay. Great customer service. If I ever need any service on my bike, I will definitely call DJ first. Thanks again!!

I called for a change of tires for my R6. Says he doesn't do street bikes but recommended a great shop who took care of me! Only an honest guy would pass up money and pass it on to make sure I get taken care of!
