The hotel seems to be quite new. Located close to the highway. Shopping options in easy walking distance. Adrian at the front desk has been extremely helpful and had checked us in quickly.
Nice practical rooms; a very small gym; heated hot-tub.

Decent accommodations as expected. Staff was kind. Nice that we had lot security for our expensive work vehicles. My only negative comment I wish to convey: disable the automatic AI light in the bathroom. When one barely wakes in the middle of the night to use the toilet, they should not be stunned fully awake by an automatic light!!! What a horrible idea! Very hard to go back to sleep. Especially considering we got on had 5 hours to sleep.

Everything is great except for one thing. The air conditioning system is very loud. I turned it off in the past manually. With the new automatic climate control system, it kept coming back every 30 minutes.

Everything else are nice and comfortable.

We booked a room at the last minute. I am a highly experienced traveler and have literally booked hundreds of rooms. I know what a room looks like, how to use pictures on site to determine what room I am booking.

I booked the 2 room suite from the hotel website, not a third party, and paid the rate for it. When we arrived I carefully explained what the room looked like we had booked as the GM on duty was referencing a name that was not on the website. He assured me it was the room I described. I did this because the there were 2 kinds of suites and I knew which was the one we wanted. We open the door and it’s the wrong room. Back to the desk to have this corrected only to have the manager walk away to go to lunch and not take 5 minutes to get us into our room. This hotel did not have a staff member on duty who could help us. Only a maintenance worker who could just sit at tff her e desk. We waited at least 30 minutes. The GM came back looked up the room and told us it was closed for maintenance. When asked about the cost difference for a refund he told me it’s only $10 and maybe they would approve extra points. No refund, no points. The next morning at checkout we told the new GM we were filing a complaint. They told me the room wasn’t under maintenance but had been booked for weeks. Now we’d been lied to. The website was incorrectly showing the wearing room available. No one cared to correct the issue, refer it to corporate to have the site corrected or make sure we were refunded the extra spent. Perhaps it’s because we took advantage of the senior discount. Lying to a customer or failing to correct an error is never acceptable.

The elevator is not working. Put me on the 3rd floor. Other guests down the hall are very noisy. Screaming, TVs full blast, yelling, kids in hall. Not recognized as Platinum Elite member, not given an upgrade regardless of having booked in advance. Not offered choice of welcome amenity. Overall, I wouldn't seek this property out to stay again. The bed was good, though.

The hotel itself was very nice and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, being very close to the freeway and a shopping center with a variety of restaurants. However, the cleaning service was terrible. During our three-night, four-day stay, our room was never cleaned, despite multiple requests. Each day, we left early in the morning and returned late at night to find the room exactly as we had left it. This was very frustrating. We complained at the lobby and again at checkout, but the only response we received was an apology and an explanation that they were short-staffed. Additionally, they asked if I was a member of the Holiday Inn Club, which I am not.

I was extremely disappointed with the service and communication from both the staff and management at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Turlock - Hwy 99. During our stay, the shower diverter in our room was broken. A maintenance technician came to assess the issue and mentioned he needed to speak to his manager and get parts to repair or replace the faucet. However, that was the last we heard from anyone.||We waited for updates from both maintenance and the front desk but received none. Unfortunately, my wife and I had to pack up our towels/ toiletries and ask friends, who were also staying at the hotel, if we could inconvenience them and use their rooms just to have a basic shower. Had we not been with a group, we would have been left with no choice but to stay at the hotel without access to a simple, common shower.||When we stopped by the front desk to inquire about the situation, the lady informed us that she was messaging her manager but had no other options for us. Upon our return, there was still no communication from the front desk or management about a resolution.||The lack of follow-up and communication is both disappointing and unacceptable, especially from a large corporation like IHG. Having to rely on friends just for a simple shower and not being offered any kind of resolution shows a lack of care for the customer experience. This is a far cry from the hospitality one expects from a hotel. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.

I would have stayed longer and returned to this hotel had I been able to check out on an earlier day than reserved without the 24-hr cancellation requirement. As a fire fighter whose assignments can change last minute, I want to stay at hotels that allow me to cancel my remaining days by check-out time on the day I am leaving (not the day before). As it turns out, this hotel lost several days from me because of its 24-hr cancellation policy.
Other than the cancellation policy, my stay was an enjoyable experience.
