I recently looked into a TLX that was at this dealership and everything was going smooth and great. Carlos was great. He was transparent with me and I genuinely felt like he was trying to help. After a few days we get some numbers I like and then I get a call from one of the sales managers. He then proceeds to change the whole deal and lower my trade by over a thousand and proceeds to lie and say my car isn’t worth that much when other Honda dealers offered 1,500-2,500 more. Then after I call him out on it he goes to say that the more he offers for trade he will just add more money to add on accessories and if he lowers trade he will lower price on add ons. He also proceeded to say that I was leaving him in the dark by not providing all the information they needed when I had provided everything and requested a credit application days prior and never got a response. I was told that I can get the add ons removed but the sales manager was reluctant to remove anything and kept saying how I was getting a great deal paying almost $1000 for unnecessary accessories. As someone who works at a dealership I was hoping for a better experience. Carlos treated me great and I would absolutely work with him in the future but I feel like there was lack of communication or something on the sales managers end.

Whoa! 🤯 We’ve purchased many cars before in my life from many other dealerships! Never have I had such a good feeling buying from Honda of the Desert! So professional! Honest! And swift! Everyone from the receptionist answering the phone to the salesman and the financing! Even a follow up call as well!
You can tell the management is Top Notch here! I will go no where but here from now on to purchase a car being used or brand new! Kudos to you all at Honda and Toyota of the Desert! My salesman Matt was a gem. Such a caring and supportive individual. It was a stressful event for me but I have the most beautiful car ever. He did not give up and made it happen. I am so appreciative. The finance manager was just as incredible and I won't go any place else for future purchases. They had my back from the beginning. I had gone to other dealerships and no one cared to make it happen until Honda of the Desert. Amazing humans work there! It was not just about selling a car to them. My car was delivered with glass from a broken window still in the seats! Really...have the customer sit in a seat with broken glass, Unbelievable. Also, service reps sure don't like having to take 10 minutes to fax paperwork to an insurance company, even when it's reapproved payment for the work completed. On a positive note, they were very quick in the service ordered.

I had an outstanding experience with Mario at Honda of the Desert ! From the moment I walked in, he went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best customer service possible.

Mario was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of my vehicle and took the time to listen to my concerns. He provided clear explanations of the services needed and made sure I understood everything before proceeding. I felt truly cared for throughout the entire process.

Such a Hassle Free experience!

They screwed up an oil change - how can the dealer SCREW UP AN OIL CHANGE!!!
I think they purposely ruined my engine so I will have to spend money fixing it. When big companies started doing this you know the country is rotting - I think the bad food is getting into people’s brains - soon their mechanics will be seen watering plants with gatorade

On Wednesday October 17 , I helped my daughter schedule an appointment for her car to be serviced , we were very clear on what she wanted and needed upon the appointment, my daughter is 18 years old so she is trying to be more independent and do things on her own we requested a tire rotation and brake check the recommended suggestions , which should have been covered there , so she went in and was told she needed an oil change and a tire alignment . She asked if they were covered and she was told yes, (she did purchase vehicle there ) then was told she owed $123, when she specifically asked if things were covered.
So I get a call from my daughter crying in the Honda waiting room for the money. I will never send my daughter to this location again by herself. I feel she was taken advantage of, which is sad because she was very specific in what she wanted and even on the quote when she dropped off her vehicle. I feel this is a misrepresentation and you should discuss pricing prior to having services done if they are not on the intake form. She was just there to do the recommended services
