My mom and I were desperate for reliable transportation between the skilled nursing facility & her twice weekly appointments. Thank goodness we found Izra transportation! Izra is not only reliable but also so much more: patient, punctual, communicative, kind, compassionate, gentle, safe, dependable, & reasonable compared to other transportation companies. Hassan, the driver, went above and beyond, by wheeling my mom into the hospital to check in for the appointment and then wheeling her to the waiting room. He didn’t have to do that. A lot of transportation companies drop the patient off at the curb. Not Izra! When picking up/dropping off at the SNF, Hassan went to my mother’s room to get her & returned her to her room. Hassan actually fashioned a strap to keep my mom’s leg straight and on the wheel chair attachment. The SNF didn’t do that. We used Izra 2x/week for 30 days, then 1x/week for another 30 days. We so appreciate Izra’s service-you will, too.

I recently used Izra Transport to bring my father from memory care to a family function at home. It was important to have safe transportation and the ability for me to reach the transportation company if my father became tired and needed to return home early. Izra provided excellent service, punctually picking my dad up from his facility and bringing him to our home on time. I truly can't say enough about this driving organization. I utilized them several times through my Medi-Cal Molina medical transportation program.
I needed to reserve not simply an uber-type ride to and fro an appt, but an actual Medical Door-to-Door Transport. It's for when a patient receives a medical procedure and may have been sedated, or is now on pain medication and needs assistance and assurances that they will make it into their home after the procedure.
Having attempted this service 3 times prior through Molina, I was completely left at the facilities after procedure each time prior. No wonder the next time I wanted to use this service through my insurance company, the surgeon's office said they wouldn't accept it, since the ride services often do not show up or don't qualify to transport the patient. Pretty much makes the services offered by Molina useless. 🙁
This issue has put me in a bind on several occasions at several different facilities, as explained. But since I truly NEED such a service when I am having different procedures done, I kept trying to make it work out for me.
Izra Transport was the ANSWER to all my problems! They are the only place that made this supposed Door-to-Door service actually work! My surgery center had no reason to deny the service once there was a competent company to make the transport happen! I am so very thankful to these not only professional, but also kind, compassionate and responsive drivers who listened to my issues and made sure to complete the job correctly and in conjunction with my surgery center, so they had nothing to reject or deny.
