I would strongly advise against taking your vehicle here for any reason!

Here is my personal experience. I needed a smog quickly, called in advance and was given an appointment 30 minutes out. So far, everything seemed great.

When I arrived, the office was empty. It took over 10 minutes for someone to help me (a warning sign that I should have already left). After that, it took another 20 minutes before they began checking my vehicle, even though they appeared to have no other customers.

Eventually, they completed my smog check and told me that my vehicle had failed to pass. My vehicle had in fact passed the emissions test and 2 out of the 3 portions of the smog check. However, Octavio told me that I had failed the "visual inspection" portion of the check. He then quoted me a very high price for replacing a simple/cheap part (rubber hose) and told me that I must do this to pass smog.

I then took my vehicle to a different shop where it passed without any problems.

This place is looking to scam you and make extra money off of bogus repairs. CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!

I needed a smog check to complete my car registration. I called ahead and got an appointment for two hours after I called. They were very nice and speedy. Took less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend them and will be using their service again in the future!

Called beforehand to see if they could do a smog check on my car. They said they had a spot open that afternoon so I booked the time. Pulled up and was greeted right away. The check took only about 20 minutes. Staff is very nice. I would recommend them to others and will definitely be back to have other work done to my vehicles.

Took a car there that I had purchased from a private seller and I needed to get a Smog check last minute. I saw they were local and had called around for pricing since a “smog is a smog” (IMO) and needed to get it done quick. They not only had the best value, because their service was excellent too. It was fast and it passed! Took maybe 15 mins. The Technician I worked with was very polite and professional. I recommend this place for smog checks.

Great experience! Fast, pleasant experience. It would get one more star if there was a waiting room but I stayed in my car, socially distancing in back seat while smog check was done. Bonus: there is currently a coupon on their website, making it the best value on a smog check and certification around SLO.
