My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and weโ€™re already talking about when weโ€™re going back!
Check in was quick and easy. We were given a tour of the compound before arriving to our room. Wine hour hosted by different wineries every night at 5pm-6pm. Iโ€™d recommend to take advantage of this! This saved my husband and I a trip to a couple wineries we thought about going to during our stay. Heated pool which was conveniently right outside our room. We ordered room service on our last night and had our food delivered by the pool while we were swimming. Kenwood Inn & Spa is great for a weekend getaway with your partner. The area was quiet and very romantic.

We stayed for three nights recently. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Temperature was comfortable and well-regulated. The fireplace was very welcome since we had a rainy weekend. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The property is attractive with a huge hot-tub and a nice pool (which we used despite the rain!). The room could do with a refresh and felt very dated and worn. A cautionary note is that the door handle is designed in such a way that fingers get trapped between it and the other door. I am sure many hurt hands have come from there!!||We were underwhelmed by the breakfast area which I found small, cramped and stuffy. The food was good but limited and at the level of a Courtyard Marriott in my opinion. Very surprising that no cappuccino, espresso etc was available. I expect better of a "luxury" hotel. The Happy Hour was also a disappointment since it was basically a wine tasting of 2 sips of wine with some cheese and crackers in another cramped space similar to the breakfast room. Hardly the setting for a convivial hour.||So, overall, we had a pleasant stay but feel we could and should have had a much better experience considering the cost.

Pros: The room was large and spacious, with adequate drawer and closet space, ample and comfortable room seating, a nice gas fireplace, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and had a jetted tub and shower. Outdoor spaces feature several seating areas near fireplaces and lots of pretty fountains.|Cons: The Breakfast and "Happy Hour" areas were small, cramped and stuffy. The breakfast options were good and well-made, but more like a Marriott hotel breakfast line. No cappuccino or espresso, requiring us to drive and find a coffee shop down the highway every morning. This is unacceptable for a "luxury spa" and given the prices they charge. Our bathroom tile was cracked and appeared dirty; that was an immediate turnoff. Our room was allegedly an upgrade, but the view was onto a wall in a courtyard. Expect at least an extra $100 added to your room each night for the add-on taxes in California. We would have liked a larger, single gathering place for drinks and meeting other guests. Time for another refresh.

The Kenwood Inn and Spa is an exceptional place, my favorite spot for a weekend getaway with friends or my partner. The grounds are beautiful and well-tended, and I feel relaxed the minute I step into the lobby. The buildings are beautiful, with central courtyards and large, comfortable rooms. The hospitality from staff is truly some of the best I have encountered. Breakfasts are included and delicious. They host a wine tasting each night with local vineyards pouring, and a big cheese and charcuterie spread. The warming pool is a highlight in the winter, and in the summer relaxing by the fire pits or the main pool is a must! I usually spend at least one day just relaxing on the grounds because I love it so much here. The spa is also fabulous. I seriously cannot recommend the Kenwood Inn and Spa highly enough in any season!!

We had a one night mid week stay that went flawlessly. The grounds and structures have a real Tuscan feeling, the rooms are spacious and our was up to date w plenty of outets , dimmers on all lights, good HVAC, a spa style tub steamer, safe, nice fireplace too etc. Our bed was super comfy. ALthough we could not easily figure out how to get our streaming services going on the TV.||The outdoor hot "Tub" its more like a small pool is a main attraction....and for adults only w 24 hr. access. There's also a large pool and lots of room to relax.|My other half got an hour massage that she was pleased about.|Breakfast is included and very adequate, two entrees and the usual fruit and yoghurt and pastries are buffet style. The wine and cheese happy hour is also really nice from 5-6. Good quality wine generously poured.||Kenwood Inn has a laid back country vibe with a lot of nice perks, soda water on tap + coffee tea 24 hrs. The personnel are friendly , helpful and welcoming. Great spot for a short getaway or long distance travelers touring wine country.

We chose a room towards the back of the property which wise, given the proximity of the Inn to Highway 12.

The ambiance is so inviting, with cozy places to sit or lounge sprinkled liberally across the property. The landscaping is meticulously maintained, and even with the seasonal starkness of the vegetation, the patios and walkways are beautiful!

The large swimming pool was perfect for an afternoon swim after soaking up about 30 minutes of sun on comfy loungers.

We also floated in the warming pool, which comes complete with a "hot water" water fall!

Our stay included a rich and varied breakfast array of treats and mimosas if desired. At 5:00pm, a wine tasting and an assortment of cheeses, salami, crackers, crudites with hummus, and jams were served.

Kenwood Inn is equally picturesque once the sun sets! One can choose a glass of tawny or ruby port to cap the day, then head to one's tastefully appointed room. Downy quilts, downy pillows (did I mention Pillows?) (I DID say PILLOWS, right?), downy mattress toppers - it's pure comfort to nestle up in!

Now get excited, the thickest and softest robe ever, and slippers wait for you in the closet! Yup, I wore mine to breakfast! No one batted an eye.

The staff are all geared to the same vision: making your stay as pleasant as possible. Ours was perfect.

A beautiful, private oasis with a Tuscan feel. Great personalized service, rooms were large, clean and well laid out. Resort had plenty of areas to relax and feel secluded. Both pools were great and the nightly wine and charcuterie events were awesome. We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplaces at night and enjoying a glass of wine. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect wine country paradise. Italian style inn with the most exceptional service. We loved the breakfast in the morning, sitting by the fire with a cup of coffee. The evening wine hour was a perfect transition from the busy days. We also loved the two pool areas, the one with the warming pool a personal favorite! Would highly recommend and we canโ€™t wait to visit again soon.
