This place was a life saver! I was heading to Sac from Santa Barbara and my car started acting up. When I was 15 minutes out, I called Mauricio and asked if he would be able to check out my vehicle with such short notice–he happily said yes. Once I arrived, he greeted me with a smile and immediately went to inspecting my car. He found the problem and was able to find the part my car needed right away. He worked until after the shop closed to get my vehicle up and running again. I was able to make it home safely and my car was fixed for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop for any of your car troubles whether you live in Kettleman City or are just passing through.

Mauricio was truly a lifesaver! Our car engine stalled suddenly near Kettleman City and we were towed to Midway Auto Repair. He was incredibly prompt, helpful, kind and straightforward — he only charged us for the base diagnostic fee even though he spent an entire afternoon/evening looking at the car. He even followed up after we got the car towed to a dealership with super helpful info! Can’t thank him and his son enough for their help in a bind.

I had to call the sheriffs department to get to the job done. My girlfriend felt very uncomfortable being there. They were cheating her trying to get more money out of her. Trying to take advantage of someone traveling alone. Absolutely terrible service. The guy working on my vehicle we rude and said I get to it when I get to it. What should have been maybe a 30 min job turned into a all night ordeal. It was late after hours, he just seemed like he wanted to get home after he said he could get it done soon. This place overcharged for being 1 star service if that. Then he decided he didn’t want to work on it anymore and took the new part he put on off. I would not recommend going here. If anything try and go anywhere else but here.

We were on a trip to Utah. One and half hours into to trip our leaf spring on our fifth wheel broke. The owner drove about an hour and a half to Fresno and back, 3 hours total to get the parts and then worked until 10:30 pm to get the job done. We are so grateful and owe him much than he charged,

Maurico helped my girlfriend & I out of a difficult situation. He went above and beyond to help get us back on the road. He actually listened to me and took the time to find the actual cause of our vehicle's issues when it was something I never would have thought of. He really cared, knew what he was talking about, and charged a very modest price (I ended up tipping him for doing such a great job). Thanks you again!!!

I broke down in Kettleman City in the parking lot of Mobil gas station in a really bad spot to get towed. One of the mechanics from Midway auto drove right over to help me. He tried every trick in the book to help get the car into gear, working for over an hour. He then was very honest that I should take it to the Ford dealership because it seemed to be a problem with the cars internal computer system and ford would be the only o es who can do it. He also stayed to helped the tow driver move my car (which was not an easy thing to do) for another half hour. I just want to thank him and I’m glad there are people like him in this world!

My son's van broke down on Highway 41 in early September, and he had it towed to Midway. Mauricio said he had to send parts out to be repaired, and that it would take a few weeks. It has now been almost 2 months, and he still has the van, and he has come up with health excuses as to why it is not done. He has not provided communication on timing, its always "next week". We live 200 miles away, so it has been difficult. This place is a SCAM!!

Our rental car had a blow out. We only had a small donut tire and 230 miles to San Francisco on a Sunday afternoon. They had a new tire and a used tire. Amir assisted us and put a great used tire on for us and got us back on our way. That was far better than what the rental car company could do for us at the time. Helped us get back on the highway and not have to drive at 50 mph on a donut spare all the way to SF. So grateful for them. Amir was a great guy. Only ones open too. (9-6 daily in case you may need them too.)
