What a great resource to have on the mountain! I get my propane tanks refilled here and recently rented a mini excavator for some work on my property. I had them deliver the excavator, they showed up at the exact time they said they would, took plenty of time going over the controls with me, and the machine ran great all weekend.

First time renting from Arrowhead Rentals and needed a Roto Hammer and floor sander.

Picked up both for a day and unfortunately the floor sander was not in good shape at all and didn’t work well. Upon returning the itmes I was even told that the floor sander had had problems and needed to be fixed but no refund of a partial credit was offered...kind of odd in my opinion.

I rented a 14” concrete saw to cut a 6” concrete footing at my house. I have always rented from Home Depot but decided to try a local shop. I was told $60 a day and $15 for the blade. (Turned out to be over $200 rental) I was told there would be a charge for blade use, but since I was only making 5-6 12” cuts I did not worry about that. I was also told to have it back the next day at 8am to avoid charges. I used the saw quickly and was finished without even having to refill with the gas can they provided. I left my home the next morning early to be at the business. I arrived early. I waited until 830 am and the business was not open nor answered it phones. I was contacted by a auto shop mechanic next door who was very helpful and told me the business does not open if it snows. That would be nice to know since I drove there in the snow and snow was forecasted when I was told 8am. I left the saw with the mechanic who I knew who delivered it to business when they decided to open. I later received a bill for over $200. I assumed they mistakenly charged me for a late charge but when I called the owner told me it was over $120 in blade use. I cut my concrete footing in less than an hour and he said the blade chafe he was $120? He told me a new blade costs him $179. I practically bought him a new blade for a hour of use. He did not seem to care and said the measurement (done out of my presence) was done by him and was accurate. When I rented from Home Depot I never had this problem. I will be driving down the hill for any rentals from now on.

Beware... The owner John rented a stump grinder to me with no operation instructions other than to not hit the teeth of the grinder to dirt or he would charge me more than $700 for the teeth. During operation of the equipment the machine would stall from time to time instead of disengaging the clutch. Eventually the belt broke on the machine after about two hours of operation. I returned the machine and John stated the belt had never been replaced on the machine. Then he came up to the property and accused me of improper use and charged me for a full days use without being able to use the equipment to finish the job. Very unprofessional. If you rent anything you should get a full handout of operation or you too can be accused of improper use.

Matt was great, super helpful - I went in for some propane but will be back when I need to rent something. They have a ton of stuff from power tools to popcorn machines.

Got propane refill, very easy. Used for party rentals previously too. Friendly helpful people there. Nice to have this type of service in the mountains.
