Polite service, pleasant staff, we received an SUV in good condition. The company literally saved us from a near holiday disaster as the rental company we used failed to provide us a car when we arrived at LAX. LAXpress team came to collect us, and they also dropped us off back at the airport when we returned the car - it was really appreciated by my children. The hire price was higher than I expected, but it was on the spot hire rather than prepaid. If there is one point to suggest - the drop-off process could be easier with easier entry procedure to the courtyard (for non US residents, it was slightly confusing, and we needed to do a detour).

THE INSURANCE IS THIS PLACE IS FAKE! They just stole $1000 from us!! Be careful - they‘re cheaper because they’re insurance is fake!!! The woman is super aggressive and refused to take us to the airport and we lost our flight!!! Careful!!! This place is not serious!! When you deliver your car they try to find the smallest thing to take $1000 from you!!! That’s why they’re cheaper… their business is stealing!

A big thank you to this landlord who helped us when we arrived in LA, because our cards did not go to Avis. They came to pick us up, welcomed us quite late and rented us a new car (10 miles on the odometer), with which we did 2600 miles. Obviously we took great care of it, to avoid any problems. As we had planned with Avis, the return of the vehicle could be made to SFO, thank you. We were asked to return the car cleaned inside / outside, after 18 days of rental the cleaning should be included.

Thanks for saving our trip!!!!

We arrived at LAX in the evening and got rejected by AVIS since I didn't have a credit card. We stood without any car, but LAXpress saved us! We got picked up at AVIS and driven to the office, where a very nice guy had a car ready for us! And the day after, we had some issues with the car, so we called the office and we got a new car without any problems. The drop-off took like 5 minutes, I got all the deposit back, and we got a ride to the airport shuttle. The only minus is the relatively high deductible with the included insurance of 1000$, but as long as you take care of the car, it shouldn’t be a problem.

A very nice experience and exceptional customer service, and I really recommend using this company!

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Car Rental Company

I had a terrible experience with this car rental company. They are aggressive and dishonest, especially when it comes to insurance. I purchased comprehensive insurance for $966, only to find out it was fake and didn’t cover anything beyond a basic plan. Additionally, they would deduct $1000 for any scratch or damage, and the insurance wouldn’t cover theft or fire without a police report.

I rented a Ford Explorer 2023, which had a lot of noises while driving. When I complained, they insisted I return 500 miles to their location for a mechanic to inspect it, without offering an alternative vehicle or even an apology. I had to complete my journey with a noisy car.

When I returned the car, they refused to take me back to the airport as initially promised. Instead, they made me drop the car in a parking lot and demanded an extra $35. I ended up taking a bus with five large bags to the airport, which was extremely difficult.

Finally they took 700$ additional the deposit that have taken in advance

With all this loss I would get a very luxurious car instead of going to them

In summary:
- Aggressive and dishonest practices
- Hidden costs not disclosed upfront
- Poor vehicle conditions
- Charges for cleaning regardless of condition
- Stealing you at anyway

I would appreciate any help that I could complain to force them to pay me back my money

Quick service. They accept credit, debit, Revolut card and cash. We got a 4 year old car in good condition for a nice price. Be careful about the car, there is 1000$ complicity even though you have full insurance.

This car rental company helped me, my husband and our baby at the last minute (at like 2am) after our cards weren’t accepted at another rental. Mike was nice enough to come pick us up, load all our stuff in the back of his van and let us rent one of his nice cars for a very reasonable price. We didn’t use the car much since we prefer walking but it was clean and spacious (my husband is 6’4). They also dropped us off at the shuttle bus station to take us to the airport on our last day!!! Thank you Mike for your help, really appreciate it!

I had an awesome experience here as I am a clutz and forget things left and right. Mike was very accommodating when I forgot my items in the vehicle or when I was having issues with my debit card, even offering to mail my items back to me since I was already about to board my flight back home.

I know the place may seem sketchy from the looks but they do great work and their customer service is phenomenal fr fr.

Will definitely be using this place for my future car rentals, hands down 🤝
