Hello to everyone who wants to buy a motorcycle or other equipment in this motorcycle dealership. Please visually inspect the motorcycle before you pick it up and pay. I did not do this because this was my first purchase of a new motorcycle. I went to this motorcycle dealership because I liked the low price compared to other motorcycle dealerships. It was a Yamaha Tenere 700. But during the signing of the papers, the price rose to the average market price.So you shouldn't chase a discount. After signing the papers, they said that they would give the motorcycle back in half an hour, they said that they would check everything and fill up gastank. They gave it back in three hours arguing that they were very busy. Then I understood why there was this discount when I started riding this motorcycle. After 400 miles, the rear brake lever began to get stuck halfway. When I started to disassemble the problem, I discovered that two bolts were missing in the subframe. Having disassembled the mechanism, I discovered that someone had already disassembled it and assembled it incorrectly. and perhaps when they assembled it, they forgot to screw those two bolts into the subframe. I fixed everything and put it back together. I called the motorcycle shop and explained the problem. They offered to solve the problem if I brought the bike to them. I refused because I live far from them and do not want to leave the bike there for a month. We agreed that they would send the bolts by mail. At 1500 miles I found that the rear pads were completely worn out but the brake disc looked like new with no wear. I think they installed used ones before selling the bike. I wonder what I will find in the future with this bike.

This business was recommended by Riverside Harley Davidson. I was there just before they opened yesterday. Sam greeted me at the door and I thought great this place will help me. Little did I know how wrong I was. I briefly explained to Sam what I was looking for and after listening, he told me to go to the parts dept. I was super excited to think I'd finally find what I was looking for. Then everything went south. The guy I talked to in parts said he couldn't help me, he had no ideas. Further I asked him about any metal shops that I could go to. He told me he didn't know anything about Riverside cause he lives in Temecula. He was not very friendly either. Needless to say that white Sam has great customer service this other guy in parts blew it. I was too upset and just left. I won't be going back. I was prepared to spend money and come up with good ideas but it won't be with Malcolm Smith.

I worked with Scott K for a few weeks and finally got to a point where it was a good time for me to come in. He was just as pleasant as he was on the phone, and he worked with me in getting me a price that was going to work with my budget. Beautiful showroom and a very cool staff made the experience as smooth as silk, and they were able to get me ready not too long after Sam J in finance was able to help me get the right policies and coverages that I needed to making it fit within my budget. Highly recommended dealer and I look forward to being able to work with them in the future!

Been shopping around the net for a 2-stroke MX, and I can say that the 42-mile drive to the dealership is well worth it. Joe from sales and Sam from finance were helpful and upfront with all my questions. Excellent customer service.

The only negative aspect is that I observed a coolant leak coming from the engine case and needs to schedule service repair on a new unit.

I bought a bike from Malcom Smith a couple of years ago and needed service.

I wanted to have them replace a battery. They tell me they still can't start the bike, even with the battery. They wanted $225 to find the solution and couldn't afford that. I wanted them to tow the bike back, since they couldn't fix it and they wanted me to pay for the battery before they could do that.

I said keep it. I now have no transportation.

These people are mean, nasty and try to chisel you with no remorse. Go here if you must, but you have been warned.

Not the best service here. Came in with my partner a few weeks ago after doing some online shopping and speaking to a rep over the phone (who was quite condescending and rude to my bf over the phone) when we arrived. He ending up approaching us and after talking for a few minutes he said “or are you (my boyfriend’s name)?” Like yeah, you would’ve known that if you introduced yourself prior. Keep in mind he completely ignored me and didn’t bother to shake my hand but shook my boyfriends. We ended up purchasing elsewhere for a few reasons… our main issue was the way we were treated. The sales rep was ok after we gave our info and talked more but he should’ve started with a proper introduction & introducing himself to the woman who is actually purchasing the bike in her name. We also did not like the way numbers were presented. Why are we being quoted in sharpie on a blank piece of paper…? Once we left and a “automated email” (sales persons words) was sent to me, I responded very nicely stating we want to purchase but we want to feel as if we are getting a good deal. sales rep responds with these exact words “Hello. This is ____ with Malcolm Smith motorsport replying to the automated email that was sent. So we did give you a printed total price of the vehicle. It is our best price out the door if you would like a lower cost, we could always put in the non-modified YZ 250F. Please let me know what you would like to do.” I left his name out because I really am not looking to call this person out, it’s more so just to let other shoppers know about the treatment you will be given at this store. Also! Forgot to mention he tried to tell us the tax rate in 92507 and 92374 were the same when they are NOT. We were never given a quote to take home. So overall, we ended up purchasing at Chaparall who at-least gave us somewhere to sit while we waited, and a great deal (we actually ended up purchasing two bikes). Check them out
