"The wife and I was searching for a new breakfast spot worthy of today's growing food cost and we discovered this hidden gem right in our own backyard, literally 😀 Everything was cooked just right & they didn't skimp on the portions. I am really impressed that one of the owners/cooks took the time to come out to the patio area to answer a question my wife had, in person👍🏾👍🏾. He was so wonderful and loving and it showed in their food. We will definitely become regulars. GREAT WORK BIG DADDY ROSS"

Big boat ramp. $10 fee. Fresh water wash out area.
I didn't go in? Also a bait shop right there. And a cafe that smells good.
We had a good day. Start early. It gets rough out in main shipping channel. By the afternoon

You people are evicting the only good thing at the marina, big daddy Ross is a great business with loyal customers, this dilapidated marina is a joke, 90% of the boats/trailers on property are complete garbage, the harbor hasn’t been kept clean since forever, complete disgrace kicking out Ross

It's a bit dun down, but very functional place. The launch fee is $10, cash only, and you pay at the bait shop. The launch is nice and deep, even at a low tide. Didn't check out much else, but they also have moorage and dry storage available, and the sign claims they also offer boat repair.

This place is a rip off. Literally! My boat has had things stolen. My storage lock was cut off and everything taken. When I questioned the office I was told that they had rented my slip while my boat was being repaired and the new tenant took it. Somehow the owners were able to return one item I had in storage. Extremely suspect. I’m sure they are the ones that took it because nobody would have brought it back after they stole it. They allow vagrants and dope fiends to enter and walk around the docks. They gates are supposed to stay locked and rarely are. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable harbor where you don’t have to worry about getting ripped off or over charged. Very unprofessional people and are very prejudice. They don’t deserve 1 star. The place is a dump!

Calm quiet atmosphere with easy access to the launch ramp and minutes away from some of the best striper and sturgeon fishing in the area. Not to mention they're always pretty stocked on bait and have a good arrangement of gear. Can't forget the Super Bowl sturgeon Derby!

The place is a bit old but if you need fairly inexpensive boat or RV storage that could be your place. I've kept my 25 foot cabin cruiser there for about 5 years. It started at $54/mo for an uncovered spot back in 2014. I moved to a covered spot for $75 and about a year ago it went up to $84. This is dry storage.

The only negative thing I have to say is I've had my boat gone aboard at least 3 times over the years. The first time I believe it was the guy I bought the boat from because he gave me some fishing gear and that was the only stuff missing. The next time it happened my Mr. Buddy heater came up missing. I believe it to be done by a guy I hired to replace the starter. Missing heater and the work never got done so that was easy to match. When I dropped his name people around there agreed. The last time it happened my anchor walked away. At least they left the chain rode.

The last thing is the lot is dirt. Hard, dry dirt which means dust. I get hella dust below deck no matter if all hatches and doors are closed. Make sure you cover vessel if you store there.

Overall, I really can't complain.

Less crowded than other marinas in the area that you can launch your boat from. Great bait shop. The only downside is when you come back to the marina you really have to know where you're going because there's no sign any more of that says McAvoy.... just wooden piers and boards where a sign used to be.
