This is a fun and solid dealership, with good product and great people. I was very clear in my mind that I wanted to purchase a Mini Countryman. The team was attentive and fun, and not “car sales” pushy. My transaction was a complicated one. I had to get out from under a car with negative equity. While I was frustrated initially with the finance manager who did not appreciate my clearly stated objectives, the Gent who runs the place jumped in, helped me navigate what I needed to know and how best to handle the complexity, and a week later he personally put a deal together for me that was what I was looking for. Great team!

The sales manager immediately introduced us to Kevin who was the exact opposite of your typical car salesman. He was helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable about the cars we looked at.
They gave us a very fair price for our trade in and the whole process was easy and direct.
During the test drive, Kevin did a great job of directing us where to go and showing us all the features of the car.

The reason you see so many "Mini of Marin" license plates isn't a coincidence. I started my search as word of mouth, then online and finally I chose the dealership route. I went to Marin, Berkeley, and San Francisco, always circling back to Marin every month and watching online very closely.

Tess was the first person to help me. I appreciated that she was a female (like myself) and was honest and straightforward. Living further away, she kept communication open, went out of her way for updates and figured out "my style" of car. As I did my research, she was always able to answer my questions, point out differences in cars I was comparing and give me her opinion as she has owned several minis herself.

At the end of the day she is a sales person, but a great one! The rest of the team was also very approachable. Aj, Tess' manager was always there if any issues popped up. Jordan helped me through financials, which was new to me as a first time buyer. They all had great customer service and were approachable. The dealership has great hours, is very clean, organized and not pretentious. They want you to get the car you want! I hope to have my mini for a long time but when I get another, I am definitely coming back here.
