Just bought a pre-owned bike from Mitchell's Modesto HD. The staff were all
genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable. Lou my salesman helped me pick out the bike that fits my taste and my short size. He took his time explaining to me the differences in bikes I was interested in and shared his personal experiences with different models. Lou has a wealth of knowledge on Harley's. I highly recommend Mitchell's Modesto Harley Davidson. They treat you like family.

I would like to thank Chad in the service department my mechanic I’d like to thank Sam in the service department for the great service and job they do they’ve done lots of work to my 2000 heritage softail and I like to thank the parts department Tyler and the whole crew for such great customer service always taking the time and patience to answer my questions, so I’m highly satisfied with the service. The dealership has been great i have bought 2 bikes from and what serviced was ever done also that a 5 stars rated. And now i have just my third bike from Mitchell’s HD . And for any one wants a great family run dealership.. this is it !

Brought in 2 bikes for service on June 28th, 2024.
1 needed new handlebars, & an air cleaner upgrade for my 103 Screamer. 2 New tires. Told them I wanted & needed the bikes back no later than July 28th, 2024, because STURGIS 2024 starts on August 2nd and ends on August 11th. Being confident in Harley Davidson's reputation and believing what I was told by Mitchell's service department personnel, that was more than enough time to get the work done. No worries, they said. I made a non refundable $2,500.00 deposit for lodging in Sturgis. July 28th came & went. I didn't get the bikes back until August 12th, 2024. Mitchell's invoice was $3,300 ish. However, losing my deposit for Sturgis due to Mitchell's incompetence increases the cost to $5,800 ..... according to my live-in accountant ( wife )

Ended up stuck on the side of the road, called multiple Harley dealers to get info on how to get rolling again and had no luck until I called Mitchell’s and spoke with Troy, he went the extra mile to make sure I found the right piece and get me back on the road. Thank you so much for your help!

The absolute worst overall customer service I have ever witnessed. Unfortunately, zero stars is not an option. However, I am satisfied with the aftermarket work I did have done...even though it was a day late. Considering I spent well over 20k all cash deal, I was surprised at how many times I was actually lied to about several different aspects of buying, and servicing my brand new Harley. Sad, but I would never recommend these folks to anyone. Much better off just riding to Livermore. One person in the service department was the only one who actually told the truth. Otherwise, very disappointed even more than I can put into words. I had high hopes, as this is the only dealer locally. I do have to admit, Pedro in sales is a nice guy, and I'm not sure if he just spewed what management tells him, or is in on the deceit. At every step of the way, I felt belittled, and not taken seriously, and just flat out lied to...by many of the people there. So dishonest, it was almost hard to believe. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would have never believed it could have been that bad. No exaggeration... literally will never be back unless I have zero other options. I told them to do themselves a favor and don't send me any surveys, because I'm not good at biting my tongue. So sorry to say, I had high hopes. My last bike was purchased in Livermore, and always serviced in Jamestown...well Jamestown isn't there any longer, so the 60 mile treck to Livermore is WELL worth the lack of headache. They lost me as a customer for life. Unfortunately, because they do have a great selection, and seem to be on top of what's in style at the moment. I even had one service employee talk me out of a new exhaust, and stated, "why don't you just leave the bike, how Harley made it". Now I guess he never received the memo, but Harley Davidson's business model, is freaking customization!! That's 90% of the point! Make the bike your own...that was literally the last straw, and ac that point I made the decision to NEVER go back to Mitchell's...so sad to say...plenty of potential, just no reason to lie, when the truth would have been so much better! Note....this is my very first review EVER....this is not me, but that honestly is just how bad this actually was.
