Used to work for Yashar, bad business guy to work with he had me and another guy working at his shop. He had let me go for a broken door panel on a Porsche. He then told me he would give me my last check at the end of the business accounting cycle. Which meaning I had to wait 2 weeks for my last check. His excuse was because he did not have time to write up my check. From the time being I was their he then had fought with like 2 customers because he took their money and never completed the jobs. Just a example of a bad business man. Iā€™m surprised heā€™s still in business.

This is the worst business I have ever experienced in my life. Came here to ā€œModesto Ducatiā€ as itā€™s the only one in the Modesto area, big mistake choosing this shop. He told my father and I he just needs 2k and heā€™ll order the parts and have it done in 2 weeks and I would give another 2k when finished.. This guy ends up ignoring me for months! Then I finally, get in contact with him by showing up to his shop because I couldnā€™t call him because he would ignore my calls. He then tells me in person about having problems finding workers (guess he doesnā€™t know how to work on bikes himself) and somehow that explains why he ignored me for months. He then PROMISES my bike would be done by the end of the month. At this point I was going to take my bike back if he didnā€™t do what he said. He ends up changing 3 things on my bike, showing me an incomplete bike and after months of waiting tells me he canā€™t finish the bike unless he gets another 2k or take the incomplete bike for 4k . He literally told me he was going to finish my bike to saying he needs 2k more after he already removed the fairings, tank and etc. This peace of work guy is the reason why mechanics get a bad name, this place is garbage. My bike was in his shop for over 9 months!! 11-6-23 to 8/15/2024.

This place shouldnā€™t even be in business. You go there and thereā€™s cars blocking the entrance. Probably a good thing to tell people not to come here. I just wish they would just remove their sign and advertisement all together rather than being so misleading. My advice, donā€™t even waste your time with this location.

I currently have my Monster in there for restoration, which is coming along fine. In the mean time I took my recently acquired Honda cb300 f in for aftermarket parts installed to include a lowering kit. All the parts, case savers, sliders, tires, fender eliminated etc. were done by the end of the day and it came back excellent. Yes he is not a Ducati dealership and he will tell you this. He is updating his show room currently, but there is a nice amount of Ducati's in there. Give him a try, I did and so far he's done a great job at a fair shop rate. Again in my reviews it's just my opinion. Go in and talk to Yasar.

I took my 1098S to Yashar for a routine timing belt service and valve adjustment, and was told it would take a few weeks for about $1100. Being the only authorized Ducati shop in the area, I accepted being without my bike for that period of time since I believed I could trust the work.

After a month had gone by, I called Yashar to check the progress, and was told he had been having issues with his service writer and my parts hadn't been ordered yet. He already had my bike, and I understood that sometimes things happen, so I wasn't concerned.

After another two weeks had gone by, I called again, and was told that now the service writer had been fired, the parts were in, and that my bike was being worked on. It had taken a long time, but my bike was being worked on.

I called back a week later (7 weeks since turning over my motorcycle) and was told my bike still wasn't done, my clutch needed replacing, and my front rotors were warped. Yashar said he could replace my clutch, but it would be another $700 plus installation, even though I knew both were in fine working order. I politely declined, and inquired when my bike would be done. To his credit, Yashar apologized profusely, and said if he would come down on Saturday (when he's normally closed) to make sure the bike would be done. At that point, I was fine with everything that had happened, though a little annoyed at the amount of time it had taken and the try at the upsell for additional work.

I don't live in Modesto, so after confirming that my bike would be done on the Saturday in question, I arranged to have a ride drop me off at the shop. On that Saturday, I arrived to a locked door, no lights on inside, and an answering machine the multiple times I tried to call.

On Monday, I had my ride try to drop me off again, determined to get my bike out of the shop that day. Yashar apologized again, and told me personal issues had prevented him from coming in on the weekend. My bike was still not done. I told him I needed it finished by the end of the day and he agreed it would be. Forty-five minutes after close of business, my bike was finally wheeled out to me. I believe the work requested had been done, but upon inspecting the bike, found multiple fairing bolts and an exhaust spring missing. Yashar told me they weren't on the bike when I brought it to him, but brought me some fairing bolts he had in the back as a favor. He did not have an exhaust spring in the back, however, and insisted my bike did not have it on when I brought it in. I have since found pictures to prove the contrary, and it makes me question why the exhaust was even touched, as I just wanted the timing belts replaced and valves adjusted.

After close to two months, I paid Yashar our agreed upon price, and finally got my bike back. I have since ridden about 2000 miles, and am happy to report my clutch is perfectly fine and my front rotors are still not warped. I will not be back.

I have since talked with other Ducati riders in the area and discovered my problems with the shop were not unique. I actively recommend against going to Modesto Ducati.

Modesto Ducati is not a dealership. They are a small, authorized service facility by appointment. I was traveling thru from out of state and had set up an appointment for some needed services. They took care of everything no problem and with a personal touch. Recommended!

My bike has been there going on a year for Ins repairā€¦ I have never got an update on the bike, no one answers the phone, leaving messages does nothing, itā€™s been 4 or 5 months since I actually spoke with someone, and Iā€™m out of town so itā€™s not easy to get up there to go in the store and I shouldnā€™t have to just to talk to someone to see whatā€™s going on with my motorcycle. If this place is even still open it shouldnā€™t beā€¦ there is absolutely no reason to not pick up the phone or return a call for a year since I took the bike inā€¦ Iā€™m about to report my bike stolenā€¦ absolutely ridiculousā€¦
