18-wheeler delivery review: From highway 27 or 41, take 30th St. WEST to the LEFT turn onto Airport Rd. There is a sign for Monterey at that intersection. Go south past Monterey and T/R into the driveway by the red fire hydrant. There is a gate on the right, and that is where you enter. Receiving docks are on the right a little ways up, but if you have windshields to deliver, you go past those and back into the single dock midway up the building on your left. There's a couple dumpsters right there to navigate around when it's time to leave.

Friendly young man unloaded me in short order. I had 4 pallets and it took longer to get situated in the correct dock than it did to unload. Kind of tight but very doable. I'd deliver here again after the positive experience I enjoyed today.

Purchased a 2023 Monterey M205 trailered boat. The bimini top moves horizontally when being trailered to the lake. I called Monterey Boats with my concern and spoke to an employee named Eddie. I asked if there was a product/accessory that could lower the bimini top from its height making it more secure. I was advised by Eddie that the bimini top was not made to stay affixed to the "trailerable" boat and it should be taken down when in transit. I advised him due to the size, width and weight of the bimini top it's not a one man job. I was then insulted by Eddie by being told that if I didn't know how to take the bimini top down by myself to go to my local dealer and they can show me how to do it! If this is their solution to my problem, why is there no dedicated storage space for the bimini top to lay down flat in the boat? To lay it down inside the boat requires the metal posts to rub against the fiberglass and lay awkward and uneven against the floor and seating, leaving indentation marks on the seating and causing damage to the inside finish of the boat.
I find it hard to believe that I'm first owner with this concern. I thought for sure there was a product available to lower the rear bimini top posts closer to the gunwale. I guess technology isn't that advanced yet or Monterey Boats just doesn't care about their customers concerns.
I've been a boater for 45 years and never had this problem with my previous boats. Based on Monterey's resolution to my problem it is clear that I purchased the wrong brand of boat!

Owned one for the first time this past year. Great boat. But what was even more shocking to me was the FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE from the Manufacturer. Since my boat isn't under warranty, I called with a technical question and request for parts. They went out of their way to take great care of me, saving me a bunch of money and making me a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE.

Great customer service and quality workmanship.
When I was shopping for our current boat, I was only looking at Monterey due to the positive experiences we had with our previous Monterey and we haven't been disappointed in our decision.

Had a terrible experience with Jim Hamlin at North Florida Yacht Sales. I would think that a respectable local boat manufacturer like Monterey would want better representation of their product. I went through an entire weeks worth of negotiating. Even passed up a deal on another boat. After being very clear about the details in every aspect. When I finally drove over 2 hrs to pick up my boat. This was the text he sent me... Were at our deal of $46,237.00

49484.16 total out the door. I have every copy of every message sent to me. And therefor every misrepresentation.
Only to get there and have them waste our time and add additional monies to the deal. Nothing honorable about this company or the people running it. Stay clear of less than honest sales practices.

After placing an order 6 months ago I received no updates until I reached out to the rep. I then get connected to a monterey sales rep telling me I would not have my boat for a total of nine months. Their excuses piled up quickly seeing through the BS, but ultimately blamed the dealership.

I was told they can only make 3 boats per month, thats 18 opportunities to deliver the boat I ordered and spec'd out.

Beautiful boats, horrible customer service
