These guys are great. My electric scooter got messed up in LA and I went all over Southern California trying to get it repaired with no luck. Came home and started calling around looking for someone that could repair it. Everyone told me if Mike at Motion Madness couldn't fix, it was garbage. When I got there they said they would probably have to modify it to get it going again. A couple of days later it was repaired and better than ever with no modifications. I highly recommend them for any electric bike or scooter repairs.

First of all the new Rattan ebikes I bought from Mike (M&M) have made biking so much fun again. Mike did an excellent job assembling
the bikes and have not had any problems. I've had the bikes for about 6 months now and the only problems were riding over Goat-head thorns and getting flats. So I put latex in the tubes and now the flats auto seal. Mike did a great job explaining how to fold, charge and adjust the bike to my preferences. I would definitely buy another bike from him when the time comes.

I stumbled across the Motion Madness Pismo Beach location when I was shopping for a new e-bike. I thought it was strange that the address was in a residential neighborhood, but I decided to call and see if I could make an appointment. Mike picked up and was able to meet me within 30 minutes! Not only does he operate the business out of a tidy garage but he lives in a lovely neighborhood with amazing ocean views; it's located halfway up a huge hill, which is a great place to test out the power of the bike. I'm 5' 11" and 250lbs, I NEED a bike with plenty of power.

He had a wide range of e-bikes to show me and was so knowledgeable about all their different features. He answered my questions and encouraged me to try them out- I must have tried 7 different bikes! I ended up buying the Hemiway Step-Thru Cruiser (17.5Ah Battery, 750 Watt motor).

I use this bike to commute to work (35 miles roundtrip) and I don't even have to charge it when I get home. The battery range is amazing! If you're on the fence about buying an e-bike... dooooo it!!! And buy it from Mike, he's great!

So I bought my son an electric bike for transportation around Fresno. I bought it online and on my son’s first ride, the pedal stripped out. I live all the way in Maine. I found Motion Madness as the closest bike shop to my son. I’m 3 hours ahead from California and I sent a message to Mike the owner, expecting to hear back later that day. Mike called me before they even opened. Probably about 8 am. I explained everything to him. Sent him a link to the bike. Mike ordered the parts ASAP and he suggested several great add-ons to keep my son safe on the road. Mike also gave me Ron’s number at the shop. Mike sent me an invoice and Ron took the bike in that day. Ron and his mechanic are amazing. They had my son back on his bike the next day. Mike overnighted the main part so my son could have his transportation back and be mobile again. I sincerely can’t thank everyone at Motion Madness enough. You now have a customer for life. It’s a rarity to find such amazing customer service and knowledgeable. Thank you thank you! And paying was a breeze. I help out my sons and being able to pay online from such a distance is an added bonus. 10 stars all the way!

Got this bike last June and I love to ride with my wife on her scooter, to look for yard sales. A month ago the controler quit powering the motor so I brought it into M & M to get me out of doing myself. I no longer had the tools to do the job and Mike and his team did an amazing job in a short amount of time. Most importantly for a great price. Try them if you have e-bike trouble. You won’t regret. Look no further! Mike is the man to get you a Electronic Bike! We have been looking for bikes that fit in our price range and power with high weight capacity. I purchased a bike online and quickly realized I shouldn't be the one to build it and I chose them to assemble. They did not disappoint, good customer service, comfortable bike. It's nice to have a shop close by!

Update: 4 months later and the quality of their build has shown. I had a nail in my tire; and because of their recommended additives and tire liner, my tire did no go flat and likely saved me from being stranded.

Update 2024, they obviously did an amazing job on the build of this bike and it’s held up nicely. I had a tuneup here and I loved my experience.
