If you live in California and have a laid back attitude, or if you don’t care what you get from ordering online, then this is the store for you!
After ordering online, the This is the store for you!
I had to wait two weeks to find out that they could not provide the bike I wanted. It took emails and calls to Joe before I finally got an answer. I will say that Joe found me an appropriate replacement. If course there was no correspondence that the $2800 item had shipped. It took yet another email to get a tracking number.
When the bike did arrive it was packaged haphazardly with a Bosch part in a Yahama box among other things. Luckily it arrived safely
Oh. Least I forget that I also ordered a kickstand. Nowhere to be found,so once again back to the email requesting a $55 refund for no sent part.
With all of the online retailers out there I would definitely avoid this store! Lots of excuses and no follow up. You can do much better.

Great inventory, very nice folks, great price on the bike, and even some nice freebies. Besides (4) loose non important screws (water bottle & rack), the bike was set up great. At first I had a battery that would not charge up properly, but Joe promptly replaced both the battery and charger. The bike has worked perfectly without a hitch since then. I got a Felt Nine E 20 and could not be more satisfied. Two thumbs up!!!

This place is great, and my wife & I have bought 3 e-bikes from them in the last 3 years. They have a great selection of products, spanning bikes, e-bikes, and accessories. Their staff is also knowledgeable, a relative rarity especially for e-bikes. Their mechanics are also very good, knowledgable, and speedy. One of the few places I would take my bike to be worked on. They are also _very_ easy-going and approachable - the opposite of snooty like some bike shops can be. I am picky and give very few 5 star reviews, but Motostrano has earned it!

I emailed motostrano the day before I place my order to make sure they had the items I was looking for in stock. I got a reply from Joe saying everything was all good. So I promptly placed my and payed a Lot for 2 day shipping so it would be here in time for my trip. I got the confirmation email Fri morning that the package had shipped, but without the shifter for the Sram drivetrain I ordered. So instead of seeing that I was in a rush with 2 day shipping and contacting me so that I could have found another company to go with they just sent my order incomplete!! Then when I called them to figure out what was going on, the associate could have cares less, he was rude and dismissive. Now I've just over payed for a drivetrain that I can't even use. I will never use this company again, there are much better E-bike companies out there.

Just okay.. Joe in SF was really nice over the phone and gave me a small discount but after I told him that I live in SJ did not tell me about their store in Redwood city, I learned it on my own over the net. Joe was great and deserves 4.5 stars but the guy at the Redwood city location deserves 2 starts.
I am new to this e-scooter and wanted the sale/repair guy show me all the little details (many years in electronics and engineering) and this guy just stood there offering no help. He would do something to the bike per my asking but not show me how. and when I tried doing the same myself ...to fold the bike is one example, he just stood there like a dummy. I did fold the scooter eventually trying it myself and hit my self on the head and the guy just looked at me. Very BAD experience and will think twice buying from this store again.
Concussion: These guys offer no help at all and I had to "pull teeth" to get any details about this e-scooter or anything else they had in stock or how to use it.
The same guy also changed the standing board on my scooter to a different color per my request but used a power drill and almost stripped the crews as I was watching in pain ready to walk out......
This is not my type of service I need buying a 1500.00 scooter.

Their products are nice but terrible customer service. I had ordered a kit and a few other parts. They had said it would take about 3-6 weeks to ship the parts. The rims being the main delay, which is fine. 3 months later and I had not received parts or heard from the company. It wasn't until I had called them did they tell me they were waiting to ship everything for a part that wasn't even available for THEM! (Why would you put that a product was available for sale if you did not even have the product yet? Not even a warning saying it was not available yet!) They ended up shipping what was available. I had called them multiple times about the missing parts and they didn't seem to know where they were either. Finally they called and told me they would be shipped next day. That was over a week ago and still no parts or emails. Called them again today. They did not know I had not recieved my parts yet. They had stated that the manufacturer, Warp 9, is the one at fault who does not have the product available and Motorstrano is the middle man. They did apologize for things not going as planned.

I am still unsatisfied with their services! It is because of them I have not been able to ride my bike all season. I will NOT buy from this company again!

I have been looking at e-bikes for several weeks and at several different Bay Area bike shops. Joe was extremely patient with me as I tested, rented, and asked a string of questions about the pros and cons of each bike. They had a significantly larger selection of e-bikes than any other shop and I wish I had known about them at the beginning of my search! I haven’t yet pulled the trigger, but will be buying from Motostrano when I do.
