We needed a high-quality, dependable generator urgently, and this store delivered exactly what we were looking for with their Yamaha selection. Their selection was great, and the staff was beyond helpful.

It’s not common to find customer service like this—they truly go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need. The owner and Kevin were very welcoming and courteous, taking the time to ensure we got the right unit for our needs without any pressure either.

I’m glad we found a dependable source for both sales and service, and I look forward to doing business here again. Highly recommend them for power sports/equipment!

Bought a brand new quad tire, had it mounted but they put tire on backwards and now leaks air with the slightest pressure once they flipped it. Service guy wouldnt make it right. After some discussion, i suggested splitting the mounting cost ($40) with me for the hassle to return. Now i am in $135 for tire and mount with a leaking bead. Myself along with others dislike this place. Service is overpriced and not good. Parts guys are pretty cool.

I visited Motoworld of El Cajon during a search for a new dirt bike. I worked with Wyatt and the experience was great. They had a great selection of bikes and other toys, along with lots of gear and accessories. I would definitely recommend them if you're in the market.

Good luck with these guys. Bought a 24 Polaris Northstar Crew. Got in home off the trailer and all hell broke loose. Oil leaking and smoke everywhere. Told these guys to take it back and give me a new one. Refused to do it and got it fixed and 4000 dollars later. Customer service is useless here! Explained what happened to a lemon law attorney and he took the case like that. Since then the front seat broke off and it goes out of gear when going downhill. Even Polaris told me if I want a new one I had to come up with more money. Right! I wouldn’t even give these guys one star!!

In November of 2023, I purchased a brand new R7. This was my first time buying a bike, and I wanted or, at a bare minimum, you'd expect my experience to be a warm welcome and filled with excitement.
The truth is, it was HORRIBLE!!!

1. They sold the bike to me for over MSRP. (I understand they have the legal authority to do that)
2. They sold me an extended warranty for 1500 dollars. I found out it was some 3rd party vendor that I never heard of. I still don't know how to get access to it. Later, I discovered I could have gotten a 4-year service plan with Yamaha for $761.
3. They never went over the bike with me to show me the ins and outs of the bike.
4. I drove from AZ to get this bike, and when I got home. I found out the owner's manual was missing. They said oh we will mail it to you. I never got it.
5. They took advantage of my 840 credit score and initially had a high interest rate. I was shocked, and they overheard me complain. Suddenly, they came back, stating they could lower the interest rate by 2%.
6. A year ago, they had four and 5-star reviews on their website, which were hand-picked and just placed there. It wasn't till later that I found the real reviews on Yelp and Google stating the same issues I incurred.

Overall, I didn't want the bike after this experience. The bike stayed in my garage for 3 months before I started riding it. Hindsight is 20/20.
Yes, Part of it is my fault for not challenging what needed to be challenged. As a Disabled Combat Veteran, it's hard to negotiate when you have PTSD your mind goes numb when you're overwhelmed.

The people who were there, you could tell they didn't want to be. It was a week before Thanksgiving, and they wanted me out of there. They acted like they were relieved I left. I am willing to take pictures of all the receipts to show proof of what they did. Sad, my first bike experience was as horrible as this. Pictures to come later.

Just got back from picking up a new Duke 390. Great team all round from finance and management. Mainly Wyatt, he was super easy to work with and got the deal done and we left more than happy and will for sure be back for the next purchase!

I had a terrible experience with Motor World in El Cajon and would not recommend doing business with them. On January 20th, I contacted a salesperson named Luke about a motorcycle I was very interested in. He was initially helpful and assured me that I was pre-approved after I submitted my financial information, a copy of my ID, and a secondary ID. I explained that I couldn't make it to the dealership until Friday due to work, and he promised the bike would be held for me until then.

On January 21st, Luke informed me via text that another salesperson was trying to sell the same motorcycle, but he reassured me that since I was the first to submit my information and get pre-approved, the bike would be held for me. I trusted his word.

However, on January 22nd, I followed up only to be told that the motorcycle was being sold to someone else as we spoke. This dealership completely disregarded their promises and showed no respect for their customers.

I have text messages from the salesperson confirming everything I mentioned above, so this isn’t a misunderstanding—it’s a clear lack of integrity and professionalism. If you're looking for a dealership with honesty and reliability, avoid Motor World in El Cajon at all costs.
