MV Automotive really went above and beyond with the in depth diagnostic testing they performed on our mini cooper. They were able figure out why the check engine light was on as well diagnose the many other problems the car had at the time. They gave us a detailed print out with pictures and took the time to explain the work that was urgent needed to be done right away and items we could wait on. Everyone there was very professional and truly had our best interest in mind. I highly recommend them.

And if I only need a reality check on a self repair, I contract MV Automotive. They are a trusted partner and great resource. MV Automotive is the place to take your vehicle, hands-down! I initially took my 2013 BMW 535I to the dealership, thinking they are the better choice. But, after finding a better price at MV Automotive I took it there. Not only did MV Automotive have better pricing, they emailed pics to me of ‘all’ the concerns; where the dealership failed to detect ‘all’ issues through their inspection. Initially, my first instinct was to frequent the dealership because that's been the only repair shop since purchasing my Mercedes Benz CLS from Rocklin 6 years ago. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and the team running it. After visiting family I was just about to make the trip home, 2000 miles away, when a very distressing message popped up on the dash of my (diesel) vehicle stating there was a serious problem with the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) system and that after 10 more ignitions the vehicle would go into “limp mode” whereby it could not be driven at more than 5 miles per hour. It was already early afternoon on a Friday and it was important for me to get back home, along with the vehicle. MV Automotive didn’t know me at all but after a quick phone call with Lindsay, who was super-helpful and professional, they got me in immediately and were able to diagnose and resolve the problem, which was much less serious than the dash warning indicated. A sensor had failed and they replaced it at a very reasonable cost while I waited and got me back on the road. Michael, who runs the shop, followed up afterward to make sure everything was still solid. I’ll be back to them for preventative maintenance on future visits. MV is what everybody hopes to find in an independent auto mechanic shop. They’re professional, knowledgeable, honest and very welcoming and supportive.

I own a 2019 BMW 540i. I searched google for BMW service providers. MV Automotive had an oil change special going and I thought I would give them a try.

In addition to the oil change, I had a 30K Mile service done. My experience was great. I was greeted by friendly staff. The service was performed on time. They explained everything in detail and gave me a comprehensive summary of what other items needed attention in the future.

I would recommend MV Automotive to my best friends and family.
