This review is way long overdue as I should have written this back in April 2024. I wanted to thank and commend Jose Maravilla and Corey Cutler for their excellent customer service and advocacy when I brought my new-to-me, “Certified Pre-Owned” Nissan Frontier Pro-4X, which I purchased from another different Nissan dealership. I noticed the Frontier had several issues, including some issues with the infotainment system, the instrument cluster, some outstanding TSB’s, and the spare tire was flat with a nail in the sidewall. I worked with the manager from the original dealership I purchased the Frontier from and advised him of the issues I came across. The manager, Bryan, assured me that he would address and fix all of my issues, and provided me with Corey’s contact at Gilroy Nissan, which was closer to me anyway.

I contacted and met with Corey, the service manager, who was a pleasure to work with. He genuinely wanted to help me fix the all of the issues. Corey then put me in contact with Jose, who was my main point of contact for the service/warranty work. Jose always kept me updated through texts and calls, and was very swift with warranty requests and the actual service. Jose was a huge advocate for me, and I felt like I was really being taken care of.

I highly recommend going to Gilroy of Nissan for service, specifically to Jose and Corey because they were so honest and proactively wanting to help. Although finding this issues on the Frontier and having to jump through a bunch hoops to fix it was a huge hassle, finding trustworthy service guys like Jose and Corey was all worth it.

Jose (and the service team) took care of all the issues on my vehicle, and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service and customer advocacy.

Nissan of Gilroy's Service department is great. They make it easy and convenient to make a service appointment both online and on the phone. The service technician Dillon Nguyen is great and very helpful. It's amazing how much info Nissan has on all the different services I have done on both Nissan vehicles we own. We have a Frontier 4x4 and a Rogue AWD. Brought my Frontier in for service today and they were able to find a Nissan Service bulletin regarding an issue I was having on my Frontier and they were able to let me have a loaner overnight since I needed to leave my truck so they can order the necessary parts. That was super cool and made it convenient. Kudos and thanks to Dillon for for the great Nissan customer service.

We went in for a service and they missed things that should’ve been common sense. The last service they did not fill the screen wash fluid and this time I checked and AGAIN they left the screen wash fluid empty.
I also had a taillight out that I informed them about and they didn’t even fix it. On the service sheet list, it showed lights - all in working condition but when I asked the service desk if they fixed it. He said they don’t check taillights and it was still out.

If you use them, double check everything to make sure they didn’t miss things.

Whoever the mechanic is, I’m sure he knows what he’s doing but they’re definitely cutting corners. We will not be going back to this service centre again.

To Mario, Emilio and I believe his name was Christian who was so nice to show me and educate me on my new car! I know it’s been just a few days, but I’m so happy and absolutely in love with my new car. As a second time Nissan Sentra owner I’m pretty impressed with this vehicle and all the upgrades in comparison to my previous car, but after 15 years this one is just a magnificent car all around and with so many upgrades I’m just blown away! I had a okay experience with my first Nissan Sentra back in 08 at another dealership near my house, but taking a hour drive to Gilroy was nothing compared to the service I got. I truly appreciate all these three men who helped me this past Sunday. Thank you so much for taking care of my needs and the warm welcoming feeling my family and I were given, but over all the upmost professionalism you all had. I’m super appreciative for the service and I’m so happy that my second car continues to be a Nissan Sentra! Many thanks to you all. I’ll be referring family and friends because you all took such good care of me.

Sucks. My vehicle has been with them for over a month. Looks like Technician don't know what they are doing and they are just playing a guessing game or doing trail and error. Service manager is hopeless and don't know how to talk to customers. I was told by service adviser that they are giving priority to other vehicles and don't give a damn to my vehicle, which is being with them for over 1 month and have no ETA as of yet. I have never come a cross service like this in my entire life.
