This is one of those shops where one can spend a lot of cash. Anything you need for climbing in the park; they have it here and its top shelf stuff. The t-shirts they have are unique, or they were, with the emblem on your chest in the front instead of squished up under your armpit. The emblem on the back was a larger version of the front. When you've blown a wad in here you can walk a block to the Crossroads Cafe for chow; if you have anything left.

Amazing place to pickup gear for outdoor activities around the park, we picked up some bouldering gear for the day.

They went above and beyond. We had a flat tire and they not only pumped it up for us but offered to take us down the road to fix it and recommended us a place to get it sorted.

Nomad is a legendary climbing store serving Joshua Tree. Anytime you need anything asap while out in the monument or indian cove, this is the place to look. Among new gear, they also have a box of used climbing shoes.

Stopped in here a couple times while visiting Joshua Tree to climb. They have all of the normal climbing clothing, camping gear and basic climbing gear that you'd expect. They also had some stuff (like Totems) that I don't see everywhere, and some aid gear that I barely ever see in retail stores. I was really impressed by their selection.

The employees were also super helpful in choosing climbs in the park, plus finding restaurants and questions like that. They were super friendly as well.
