Been looking for a new go to reliable auto shop for about 5 years now. They got me in quickly due to a safety issue. They charged minimally to diagnose, and while I didn't like their solution they explained why they needed to stand by their solution due to safety concerns. Which I respect. I am not sure I've found my go to mechanic but they will.definitely be getting another chance once I need some.more work done.

I’ve brought my 98 Lexus ES 300 to North Bay Automotive twice, once for a wheel issue, once for lights/electrical. They are super fast, provide excellent communication and service, and point out other emerging issues to keep an eye on without being pushy about upselling. My favorite mechanic in town hands down!

Over tightened my lug nuts on one wheel, came in to have them loosened and re-torqued. The old man there gave me a lot of attitude about it insinuating it was my fault however after they redid it the issue was fixed.

Very transparent about costs of service. I got a text link that shows what the mechanic recommends addressing and what is in good shape. You can go down the check boxes and pick which things you’d like them to do. Each box has a price next to it.

For instance, I’ll replace my own wipers but I want them to do my brakes.

Friendly from the get-go. Knowledgeable. Always have the time to explain things to you.

11/10 they have a nice dog.
