Had a great conversation with Steve, the owner about purchasing a rear disc brake conversion kit for a customers MGA. After deciding that the kit was what I needed, I purchase it and Steve charged my debit card. Saying he would ship it the next day and send me an email invoice. After three days no shipping notice had come through, so I called him, and he said he would ship it that day. He did not. It’s been three weeks now. And Steve has not replied to my numerous calls and emails. I’m assuming that he no longer has any intention on selling me the kit. I will have to go to my card service to try and reclaim my funds. Now the business phone number is also disconnected. Leaving me with only email to attempt to contact him. Do not do business with this company.

Steve is very knowledgeable. He's my go to guy for my 61 Morris truck.
Has a huge inventory and when you need that weird little piece - generally he has it. Fair prices and free knowledge. What's not to like.

I ordered a 4 link kit front disc brake kit and a rear disc brake conversion all for a 77 mgb build. Parts finally showed up after a long time which I can understand during this pandemic. Front brakes and 4 link fit great. Rear brakes are a different story. We either got the wrong calipers or the wrong caliper brackets. Been trying to call and email for weeks with zero response. Needed to order more parts but he won't answer the phone.so now I'm out $2000 and a lot of time.

Ol Phartz Partz is operated by a first-class fellow named Steve Christiansen. Steve has an eye for quality and it clearly shows in his offerings. To survive in a business catering to auto restorers, quality is everything. Restoration is a painstaking, expensive process. In most cases, it is not motivated by profit, but rather for reasons of passion. People do not want to restore vintage cars with inferior quality components. Original quality is good, higher levels of quality - especially improvements that discretely solve original design problems - are better yet. Steve restores cars himself and speaks the language. He is a terrific guy to deal with and I love his offerings and his suggestions.

There are a lot of really great people serving this hobby, and even in that rarified atmosphere, Steve really stands out. I am looking forward to patronizing Ol Phartz Partz for many years to come.

I called because I needed replacement tail light lenses for my 1968 Sprite. Normal lenses for that model didn't appear to apply to my car, but I spotted them on Ol Phartz Partz. When I called, I got a friendly and specific answer to the part I had spotted. The parts were delivered a few days later and were a perfect fit for my little Austin Healey.

Installed Steve's disc brake conversion awhile back and am pleased to say all works just like it's supposed to 😳 Lots of compliments but they choke when I tell them the $. But for people like me who don't have the time to search out parts it is an excellent kit.
