This is the worst KTM dealer in SoCal. save yourself a lot of grief and take your business elsewhere, whether you are buying a bike or just a part, or just want service, TRUST ME, you're exposing yourself to potentially a lot of frustration and regret. best to drive a few more miles and get better service and respect at another KTM dealer. this one needs to have its KTM agreement canceled ASAP.

Use caution when going here for any service work. They will quote you a price and not tell you it doesn't include labor.
Their techs seem to do good work, it's just their shady business practice that is a huge disappointment. Better to be honest and not deceptive. I'll never go back. Horace can't help himself.

This is the worst KTM service ever! They “repaired” my 690 enduro r with insurance process. It took them 6 months and they never followed up properly. They gave me the bike with loose chain and the rear tire was not parallel. They did not even bother checking it and gave me an unsafe vehicle. My mirror thread was damaged at the accident and they just tightened it by force and left it like that. As soon as i touched it, it spun loose. When I wanted them to fix it they told me I might have broken it and then they might start a new insurance claim for it. They dont help or follow up or fix anything properly.

I will never go to this shop again. I would recommend go to newport where they care about the customers.

Horace, Anthony, Roger, and Luis really helped me out‼️

I live in Tennessee and bought a used 2016 Aprilia RSV4 RF from a riding buddy acquaintance of mine I used to ride with when I lived in Orange County SIGHT UNSEEN and had him drop it off at OC KTM/Husky/Aprilia for new tires and to install an LED brake light provided by the seller. Unfortunately, the seller didn't provide a LICENSE PLATE HOLDER (he only used it on the track) and had wired the front turn signals BACKWARDS 🤣.

Unfortunately I had a minor breakdown shortly after picking the bike up (not their fault) where the battery died at an intersection about 22 miles away. Thank GOD 2 guys driving an Amazon who are also riders stopped and helped me push start it, then I was able to ride it back to this shop to get a new battery installed while I waited (even though it tested "good") so I wouldn't have any more problems...

These guys were able to get my new (to me) bike squared away before I ride it all the way back to Tennessee, TOMORROW!

I am forever grateful to them for their professional & prompt service, with smiles. Would gladly do business with them again!

Edit: I made it home safely with no further issues on the bike. I've been enjoying riding it on my local curvy roads including the Tail of the Dragon.

Firstly let me start off by saying, if you have any issues with this dealer or other repair shops contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair, the Better Business Bureau, and KTM Corporate.

This is what happened to me:

Issues with the shop and bike highlights:

Shop had claimed that the motorcycle was dropped on the left side prior to the accident. (The motorcycle had never been down prior to the accident nor was I made aware that this claim was ever made until my insurance had denied supplemental damage in 8 months into the repair process)

Bike had a dead battery, which was confirmed by another shop and even after being on the tender it would not start. OC KTM claimed the motorcycle was started when I picked up the bike.

Shop did not properly inspect the motorcycle for damage when the bike was first inspected.

Received bike with unrepaired damage. (The second shop that finalized the repairs deemed the bike to be unsafe to ride at time of their first estimate)

Parts that were replaced were not “New” quality.

I had to fight for repairs that were damaged in the accident. (For example the brake lever was bent. I compared it to the 2023 model to show the difference. Horace tried to claim that they could be different parts)

Front rotor damage was not discovered until 8 months after receiving the bike and after I had done my first inspection when I told them there was damage to the rim. (When questioned why it wasn’t found until months later I got the response “We missed it, we took the wheel off and set it to the side”)

I no longer have warranty on the motorcycle because of this situation.

Customer Service Issues:
Conflicting stories when trying to get updates
The owner is combative
The owner is defensive over standard questions that would be reasonable to ask
The owner has created a hostile environment
The owner has consistently lied to me. For example in the case of the motorcycle not starting the conversation went as follows:

After picking up my motorcycle I attempted to start it. It had failed to start due to a dead battery, after putting it on a battery tender it still refused to start. I made both my insurance and Horace aware that the motorcycle refused to start via email. Horace then called me claiming that they had started the bike in my presence, which was not the case. He then tried to make the claim that I was signing paperwork when it was started, which was not the case. He then claimed that they had started it in front of my father, which again was not the case. I had said the bike had not been started nor could it have been since the battery was dead and would not hold a charge. Horace then said “Well I guess we have a conflicting story then.” As if it was my word against his.

This is the level of customer service I received from OC KTM after being involved in an accident. This is a shop that represents KTM and is causing damage to the brand and community. I had the Bureau of Automotive Repair involved in which they were surprised at the actions and work done by OC KTM. The second shop had also said that it was surprising the bike left in the condition it did. They deemed the motorcycle unsafe to ride in the condition they received it in.

The part that got me was when I talked to multiple people about this shop and what they had done, there was no surprise their expression gave me a “sounds about right” feel.

If you made it this far the TLDR just don’t go here.
