Completely disappointed! Not professional, he was an hour late to our first appointment. He used my boat for his own pleasure on 4th of July while I was out of the country. He said it was to produce a video for sales. No video was produced and there was no evidence that it ever existed. We Lost a full price sales contract for not responding to the purchaser and missing an appointment.
I was charged for work that was not completed, thru a separate company that he owns, and did not disclose to me. I was told that a mechanic from Mercruiser was available to do the work, turns out he tried to do the work himself, but could not complete the job. I was still billed for the work. He was difficult to get ahold of and didn’t respond in a timely manner. He never advertised the boat and every buyer was sent to him by me.
Sadly…I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and will not use any services from John Grendahl, Pacific Coast Yacht Sales or Sea Time Marine!
I’m looking for any association he has with a Yacht Broker Association, but have not found one yet.

My husband and I just sold our 50' Bluewater using John Grendahl's services. We started working with him in October 2019. Being out of the area and located in the IE, John handled all of the necessary repairs and upgrades to get the boat ready to sell. Along the way, he advised us as to what needed to be done, giving us options and making suggestions. He kept us apprised and we were able to sell the boat in a timely fashion, We highly recommend John . . . he's very professional and knows what he is doing and who he should be hiring to get the necessary work done. We just wish we would have found him sooner!!!!

I interviewed 4 different brokers when I decided to buy a yacht and ended up choosing John Grendahl,..and I'm glad I did.
We went to several marinas to look at boats. Everywhere we went everybody knew John and everybody liked him. He would stop to talk to boat cleaners, Marina managers, and everyone in between. He had a great rapport with everyone. This was a very good sign.

John knew what boats to steer me towards and which ones to stay away from . I ended up choosing a Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge.
I'm fairly new to the boating world and John was there to explain the process and tried to educate me along the way. John has over 20 Years of experience and really knows boats and the boating world .
Where John really shined was in the negotiations. He was very tough but also very fair. I was really happy with the final price. John more than earned his commission and will definitely use him for future deals.

Oh wooow JOHN GRENDAHL from Pacific Coast Yachts, the master yacht salesman and boat expert as some people describe him on these reviews...but WAIT is this the same JOHN GRENDAHL l know, who scammed me for thousands of dollars and is the so called “owner “ of a run down boat repair shop named SEA TIME MARINE aka. SCAM TIME MARINE. I would not trust him to fix my toilet bowl, let alone an expensive yacht.

PLEASE avoid doing any type of business with JOHN GRENDAHL, or you will be SCAMMED for thousands of your hard worked dollars.

This guy is taking money from his innocent, trusting customers running his dual business scam model and PRETENDING to be SOMEONE that HE is NOT. He talks big, lies in your face and asks for all the your money upfront, without doing any work. In the end he disappears hiding in his basement and never returns your calls or texts.

HE IS NOTHING BUT A THIEF PRETENDING TO BE A BOAT EXPERT!!!
