Beautiful area to camp. Stopped and drove around to see the camp host ( ranger) paid cash for our spot and parked. The Ranger / host said he would be over with the paperwork for the RV site later. He never showed up so kind of thought that was strange being there were only 3 campers the entire night. The place was beautiful but very cold especially at night but was nice. Didn’t really get a chance to go out and do much exploring. The bathrooms seemed n nice and clean no showers or laundry available. We would definitely stay again if passing through.

I've been coming here for years, but not at paradise cove. These are pics from around the area. A beautiful reservoir, great hot springs, a gorgeous canyon and several small and welcoming communities around the lake. It's also the "back door" to Sequoia NP with excellent camping along the entire river. General Sherman tree is only 30 miles from here. This is a paradise for many many people to share and enjoy.

This place has seen better days and much of the facilities appear to be in some need of maintenance. This high-desert lake and surroundings is still nice though. Being the end of summer, water levels have dropped quite a bit and the water has receded a few hundred feet from its high water mark. There were a few folks camping near the parking areas and a few on the beach.

Very quiet and had the campground to myself in early January, but it was expensive and don’t expect to see Sequoias in this area

The washrooms and showers are not able to be used due to mould and dirt. The grass is not cut and there are dangerous holes everywhere digged from animals.
Only the location is nice (5 stars). However, just use one of the dispersed areas around the lake and save the 40 bucks.

Really dirty bathrooms there are cockroaches everywhere.. It sucks that people are rude and will park right next. And it's so weird that the prices online are a lot cheaper than the prices. When you get there hmm

It's $34 a night, better off to go around the corner to south fork and pay $12.

Camp host Randy was very nice, the campgrounds were clean it was nice to have a shower available as we were out there for 5 days. Restrooms were clean. Each campsite had its own picnic table and fire pit. Can't wait to go back again.
