Rented a family member a Kia with expired tags and two tires that were so bad they caused two blowouts during the rental period. When asked for a refund or at least some form of reimbursement, my family member was not only ignored, but had the police called on them as soon as they returned the car. Extremely unprofessional and shady. Do not recommend

Big rip off this guy should be ashamed of himself. Rented my kids a car with expired tags, they had two blowouts from bald tires and had to be towed and buy tires. When they returned the car the guy would not even talk to them, instead he called the cops and said they damaged his car. Even though they have the receipts and put two new tires on the car they are out all the money they spent and the $200 dollar deposit. I hope the owner is reading this , my kids rented this car to get to my other daughter to be with her because her child had just died. People like you make me sick.

I wouldn't give them one star but you have to. This is a negative 5 company. Rent their car had constant problems that cost me over 600. They refuse to honor their own full coverage insurance or to return my deposit. I have all proof and send all to them. Worst company ever !!!!!

While on road trip in record heat Temps, we had a truck breakdown pulling travel trailer.
Trying to figure out how to get everything back home, we decided to rent a car.
The kind folks at this business took us in 15 minutes till closing.They had one car just returned but it had too be cleaned. This family took the extra time to get car ready, do the paperwork, and make arrangements for return when they are closed. Excellent business principals and awesome small town service

So much to say. Maggie and Payson Car Rental saved my bacon when my RV broke down in Payson. In 90+ degree heat. I had a friend with me, along with seven dogs (we were headed to a dog sporting event in Show Low). Not only did Maggie get right on it to help us, she picked me up at the RV and brought me back to her office to get the vehicle. She made it SO easy and was so flexible when it came to how long we might need the vehicle and the fact that we would be loading seven dogs into it along with a lot of gear. Maggie and Payson Car Rental are stellar examples of what a family owned business is. She truly wanted to be sure all of us we ok and safe and went well out of her way to do that. Please, if you’re in Payson and are looking to rent a car, give Payson Car Rental and Maggie a call. You will not be sorry. Thank you again Maggie for caring and for taking such good care of all of us. You’re the BEST!

Called to rent a vehicle for the night. Asked if they offered delivery service as my vehicle broke down. They offered for a small fee. (Very Nice and was impressed). Said they would arrive in 20mins. They called back and said it would be 30mins. (Once again no big deal because it was an hour and 10mins prior to closing). 2.5hrs later still no vehicle or a return call explaining any issues. Left stranded.

This guy is amazing . He really saved our butts when enterprise kept dropped the ball on us several times while we were trying to get to our sick son in phoenix. thank you again for your extreme kindness and words of encouragement in our time of need.
