The best jet ski mechanic ever! Austin is so honest and transparent about the needs of our ski. We had extensive mouse dropping issues in our engine from storing it out on the property and for minimal costs he fixed it up and cleaned it up and our ski is river ready again. Thank you. You absolutely want Austin working on your watercraft. Austin is a super sharp guy; he is a businessman as well as very good at communicating. He has been our go-to for almost 2 years now—from helping us virtually troubleshoot the ski from states away to same-day troubleshooting and turnaround at his shop. I genuinely DO NOT THINK there is any other ski repair shop that is better than Austin's shop in all of SoCal.

He'll hop on the phone with you, answer your texts, and get you on the schedule more seamlessly than you can imagine. He did a fantastic job wrapping our ski in hydro turf almost 2 years ago, and the quality of work is fantastic; it looks like the turf was installed yesterday. He has done great fiberglass repair for us as well, ensuring the integrity and strength of the ski is perfect. He has done annual maintenance, and much more for us.

I have many good thinks to say about his operation; I highly recommend using Pelican Performance for any ski needs.

Went out to the water last weekend & our Jetski unfortunately sucked up sand/rocks cause some damage to the impeller & the wear ring.

I was browsing the internet looking for mechanics near me. I found a few but after reading reviews on some of them I decided to go with Austin at Pelican Performance.

I sent him a video from up under the intake grate. He confirmed it was time to replace it.
( He advised me that prop would probably need to be changed the next time) Didn’t try to upsale me to make a buck just gave me his honest opinion and we really appreciated that! He scheduled me in pretty quick. I dropped off my ski this morning and he turned it around same day for me so my family and I can get it back out on the water this weekend!

He also took care of my break in maintenance service since I didn’t get that done yet.

We Highly recommend Austin! I found my mechanic who I’ll keep coming back to for anything we need done in the future.

I was referred to Pelican Performance by a boat repair shop in Vista. I called and informed Austin I needed to have my two Seadoos’s serviced for my River trip. Austin was able to get me in the next day and completed the service in one day. This is service! Austin was professional very informative about when I should service my skis. Completely different from what the dealer’s service told me. I highly recommend taking your ski’s to Pelican for all your needs. You’ll be satisfied!

I HIGHLY recommend Pelican Performance for all your Jet Ski needs. Repairs, maintenance, upgrades, advice, resale/new purchases, accessories, all of it. I found Austin's shop by accident. I was looking for a bodyshop for my truck and saw that beautiful jetski just sitting there, and had to stop by and ask him about it. Excellent service! I wanted a dual battery system install on my 2018 Yamaha FXHO Waverunner as I go offshore fishing (20-30miles offshore) and wanted the added insurance being so far away from land.
