Wanted to leave a better review for this place as they did a good job on our brakes, and gave decent quotes on other things we needed done. Only issue is we brought in a key fob remote with our car keys that was not attached to the keys and it was not left in the car or given back to us. Not a big deal but I called a few days later to ask if it might be lying around and the only answer we got was “we don’t work on remotes” about three times when that’s not what I was asking at all, I finally gave up as it was not a big deal. Good service just make sure your key fob is attached to its chain or you won’t get it back.

Protect yourself!!!!! If you are brave enough to try this route.... Do yourself a favor- ask for a DETAILED printed receipt that lists the work you're paying for and make sure it states what's covered and for how long it will be under the "warranty of work". Parts covered? For how long? Labor? At all, even? Insist on this BEFORE YOU PAY & drive away with your "fixed" car. If you don't have this, what leg will you stand on? You won't be able to raise concerns with the owner and you'll also find yourself screwed or up a creek with no paddle when you (very likely) find out from another mechanic - just how shotty the work that was supposedly done here... actually was completed. This is the best advice I can give anyone entertaining taking your car here other than...maybe try another repair shop all together if you can.

I highly advise against anyone from going here. They may have had excellent service once before, but this is no longer case. I had a 1000.00 dollars worth of work done on my vehicle, when the problem still persisted less than 2 weeks later, the owner refused to make it right. He "looked at it" and denied it was from his work, when I haven't had anyone else work on the truck since. Now I have a truck I'm nervous to drive and have to figure out how to cough up another 1000.00 or more to get someone else to fix what they never resolved. DO NOT GO TO PRECISION AUTO.
Update as of 11-20-23, I have taken my truck to another shop in Pelham, "Riverchase Auto Repair", they have found a slew of issues that was caused by the repair made by Precision, to include "cutting out my exhaust, then re-welding it to by pass stripped out screws. Not installing all the transmission bolts back on to the motor, causing it to torque when excelerating." Riverchase has had for two weeks trying to fix all the problems, Precision has caused to my vehicle. It's going to cost me an additional 2200.00 to fix what should have been a 1200.00 repair.

They do great work! Found a serious problem from a repair done at another mechanic shop. Tie rod was not fastened down, created bald front tires and was dangerous. Won’t go anywhere else but here from now on.

I went to Precision Auto and towing because someone recommended them to me. Well I needed 4 new tires and an alignment. He quoted me 986.00 and he did let my dad send a check up there to pay for the service. They seemed to be semi friendly the first day, did my tires and got me on my way in about an hour and a half.... He ordered me 4 Goodyear Assurance Tires. They seemed great the first day, the 2nd evening iHow is traveling back? From Columbus, GA. And my air pressure light come on. So I stop, didn't measure my air pressure and it was down to 23 so I pumped it back up to 35 and took off again about 30 min later my light came on again... this time it was down to like 18 so I pumped it up and headed to the closest truck stop. Now it is 11pm on Sunday night, I do not have a jack in my car and I am a 44yr old lady traveling alone. So I bought a can of fix a flat and after reading all the precautions online I decided that I would use it and take it Back to precision in the morning. So after I handled my affairs the next morning I went to Precision just knowing they would help me out being that I only had the tires 2 days and had spent almost a thousand dollars with him.
So I pull up and a younger guy whom I had not seen a few days prior comes over and asked what I needed, I explained the whole situation to him, and told him about the fix a flat and how I needed them to wash out the fix a
Flat yada yada..he takes the ties off does something that takes about 4 minutes to it fills it up with air and puts it back on the car...so I asked him if he had washed the fix a flat out and again explained to him that it would mess up the TPG if it was not cleaned properly .. he walked off speaking to his boss and came back and told me that it would be fine it is not going to mess anything up. Well I asked him to please have that put in writing because I cannot afford for it to replace that later. Well when the boy came back he had a big smile on his face and told me that they would go ahead and clean the tire for me. I thought awesome! I was so grateful thanked them repeatedly. When I asked them what caused the leak thinking it was the valve stem cause that is where I heard the air coming from the night before. So the lady that worked up there asked the kid and some other guy said “a really small nail”. They said they fixed it ... so ok great! .. 6 miles later and my tire pressure light comes on.. my tire is almost flat! I get out and I hear the air hissing out loud this time and not slowing down when I move the valve stem. Thank God this morning I put the jack in my car! Cause here I was in the 3:00 sun changing a my tire on the side of the road. When I got the tire off I noticed a slit about an inch long and not even busted way open. It was
about 2 inches down from the tread on the inside of the tire.
Ok here is customer service at its best! I drive back up there and I am thinking that the boss man that handled everything just 2 days ago would make this right somehow.
So I pull up get out and the owner and the guy that piped up earlier saying it was a small nail came walking over to the car. I showed them the slit that I found and asked them how it could get on the side of a new tire cause I could not find a plug anywhere in the tire so I assumed this is where they had plugged... they kept pushing the hole more open and making it bigger saying it is a road hazard. TheyTold me I had to buy another tire, then loaded the tire back into my car and walked away. I called my dad cause I was like wth just happened.. well I was explaining to him what happened and he asked me to let him talk to the guy cause he knows that men deal with men... well when I walked up and asked this man to please talk to my dad he said “I don’t have time for that “ I was floored. He sure did have time yesterday to talk to him to tell he was explaining the price of the tires. So today I drove home on a maypop spare tire after spending almost 1,000.00 on tires from this place. When I asked the man his name he refused eventually Saying I own the place.

I have done business with this group for over 10 years now. That says a lot right there. I can trust them not to charge me for unneeded work (for one reason they are so busy that they wouldn't have time) but also because they will explain what's going on so I can understand it. Smart and reliable is why I return time after time!

Excellent service. I have had mechanic work done a couple of times, in and out within 24hrs and vehicles back running like they’re supposed to. Used the towing service a few times, always there when I need them. Definitely recommend!

They towed my vehicle. I live on a fixed income. The initial fee is $250 plus $25 per day. My battery died went to get one my car was gone. Called them and begged them to work with me. Nope. They need $350 tomorrow will be more money. Everything I had almost bought the vehicle. I bought the ride the day they towed it. I had and lost a vehicle in the same day. Thanks Vance P. D. And precision towing and the damn battery for dying on me. Now I'm going to be homeless.
