I went into RadPower Bikes in Berkeley to get my daughter’s RadCity 5 plus hydrologic brake pads changed out. Please know that I made it to the service center 1 hour before closing with the next day being a full off day (Monday). Thank goodness mechanic, Mr Cameron, was on the watch. He provided me the mechanical advice I was seeking and also a speedy brake pads changed change (front and rear). While he was doing his service repair, I decided to pick his brain about upgrading my RadRunner Plus from mechanical brakes to hydrologic brakes. To my surprise, Cameron said that RadPower Bikes can now do that upgrade. What great news! I will making this upgrade once back in my home turf, San Diego. The point of my review is to highlight the great expert and courteous service provide by Cameron. As a matter a fact, about 9 months ago, I purchased my daughter her RadCity 5+ at this same Berkeley location. Cameron, once again, aided my bike building efforts as I opted to put the bike outside the store. Cameron is the real deal! Total professional and he keeps scoring wins! Thank you, sir!

We experienced some incredible customer service here!!!! We were the lucky participators in Rad Berkeley’s recent garage sale and got 2 great refurbished Rad Rover bikes for an amazing price. They held the garage sale open a bit longer so we could quickly test and buy the bikes before running to catch a flight at SFO. When we got to the airport, so excited to have just bought two amazing bikes, we realized my husband had left his license at Rad Berkeley in the demo process. It would take us too long to go back to our car at long term parking and go back to Rad. Just at the perfect moment, Manny reached out and literally drove my husband’s license all the way from Berkeley to SFO departures so he could make it to our gate with 10 minutes before boarding. We were so, so blown away by Manny and the Rad Team’s help and actions — going way above and beyond — that we are happy customers for life and will tell everyone who asks about our bikes. Thank you, thank you! Yay for Manny’s airport shuttle express and fast action to save our whole trip!

My RadWagon 4 battery died while I was on the way to an appointment close by to this store. I needed to cart two kids up a hill after the appointment, tough to do without power, so I rolled into Rad Power and asked if they would charge my bike while I was in my appointment and they jumped into action to help me out! And the store front wasn’t even supposed to be open for another 15 minutes! So grateful for their kindness and willingness to help!

Update: Son is the new owner of Rad bike. Came to get bike wheel lock and chain. Same friendly person helped us and provided tons of information on how to take care the bike.

Came for bike handling class and test ride. Most friendly staff ever. First time riding E trike and a young lady accompanying me since I was having hard time handling the trike. What a great experience.

Omar did a fantastic job on the service of my bike. There was nothing major wrong with it. I just needed tightening up and checking and recalibrating now everything works really really really well. It was worth every penny of the service charge. Great job Omar!! Thank you very much indeed.

This shop has gone downhill. They used to have 5 mechanics and now they have one. I purchased a RadPower bike because they have a physical location and now it takes 3 weeks to get an appointment for a tire change? I wish they could be a 5 star shop, but not until they are fully staffed. It sounds like this is coming from the corporate office based upon my conversation with the manager. Don't buy a bike here if you plan to use their service department.
