As soon as we got here we were overcome with a wars feeling and coziness. We stayed in the cabins and it’s a great spot for large family get together because they can stay in different cabins. No confusion through our stay whatsoever. Not far at all from the park and was so fun to stay there in our time in California. A small leak in the middle of the night but otherwise a great stay.

Location is horrible and in a very unsafe area of Eureka. Both men and women diets and restrooms in general were disgusting and looked like public restrooms. Not something I expected I was paying for. There's the longterm area of the park where it looks like people live guiltiness full time. People were loud, vehicles coming and going all through the night from one residence, receptacle bins were overflowing, trash on the ground throughout the park, cabins are cute from the outside, but mattress were thin, cobwebs in every corner of the cabin, office was never open to discuss issues, and to top it off our cabin smelled of old stale cigarette smoke.

Don't be fooled by the charm of the outside of the cabins. I should have read the reviews of this place before booking. Needs to be shut down and condemned.

The entire tent/ 30ft 30amp hookup side was empty, entire large RV side was full on a Friday in early December. Staff are great and checked me in late. The 30ft van sites are not exactly level but close enough if you have a couple leveling blocks or just pick the right one and go back and forth till it sits right. Laundry is affordable and showers stay hot forever. Bathroom is very clean. I normally boondock but there’s nothing good around here and I needed a shower laundry water and to charge my battery bank. AND this place is affordable and has VAN accommodations. Nobody wants to pay $60 for a full hookup just to park a van and take a shower, other places should take note!!!

Wonderful cabin stay while travelling! We arrived and cabin heater was on and cabin had sheets and bedding, very clean and welcoming after a long drive. Bathrooms and showers and clean and heated. It was raining and end of October so staying in a cabin was a great option as we had been camping previously. Thanks for a great stay we will visit again!

Would not share details of how to make trailer work for their park? I work full time and have a great credit score! Just because my trailer needs a little work they won’t give me a place to stay. Thanks happy new year. I’ll just look for another place tried calling to ask if i could fix it won’t answer my calls :[

Read so many bad reviews in this facility
Decided to share my own experience just to be fair.
We have been return to this camp site 4 times this year, it tells how we love to come again and again.
Our experience with the booking and service was quite challenging but all work out and satisfied
The first time I check out this place and notice the cabin has little kitchen and shower
But my confirmation shown my booking doesn’t have the service
The office lady was able to modify with a family Cabin. We are very happy with that
The second stay was not so happy as I am assuming will have the family cabin but ends up with the deluxe cabin
We learned a trick
Make calls to confirm what will my real booking in advance . We stay with Family Cabin . Deluxe cabin and ground camp site
We have great time visit the redwood. Hiking and biking. Love to clamming at the beaches

We have low expectations for the service we pay for and understood the challenges of maintaining customer satisfaction with all aspects of passing through travelers.
As for safety
We felt it’s safe enough to stay and we kept out e-bike out side the cabin and locked it
They still there the next morning
The place was quiet when we stay in grounds camp site
The lady in the office apply discount in my booking without asking. What a nice lady
One thing to share is: We always came prepared: bring bedding and cooking stuff. We bring moving blankets to put in the cabin if we need to bring our expensive e-bike in
We leave with a clean cabin .
A place to stay for short doesn’t need to have the same experience like at home
The bathroom, the shower, the WiFi and the cost I would not complain as they are available as public used.
We are happy with every stay and will return again

The bathrooms and grounds are dirty and seldom cleaned. We had items stolen, including 2 mountain bikes that were locked up. The office is seldom opened. It seems like they have given up on operating this place. We stayed 4 days, only because we were in the area for a music festival and had nowhere else to go. We were glad to leave.

We visit here and stay every year. I have never had a problem there. My kids love the playground. They have a pool hot tub miniature golf small store and laundry facilities. U get your money worth staying here. The cabins are awesome. This is our favorite place to go for vacation
