STOP...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BUSINESS.$500 was taken from me as a partial down payment because the bumper had to be fixed and was to be delivered within a week. That was dec17, 2023. As of January 23, 2024 my funds still have not been returned to me. Not to mention Demetrius Lewis is also a childhood friend. So if he will steal from a friend imagine what will happen to you. If you also do further reviews about this company in different cities, you will see that this apparently is how there businesses are ran...by stealing from customers. Some of them have even closed down do to bad reviews and business. I have filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau and I will be filing a police report as additional paper trail until it's handled by the courts.

You couldn't make a bigger mistake than doing business with this company. The owner is scandalous, he's a verbal bully,tries to intimidate you with his aggressive attitude. He's a wannabe bigshot, he makes a living by taking advantage of people....
If you have been ripped off by BOB,that's the owner....contact me I'm starting a lawsuit against him and you are welcome to join in

So today my sister and I dropped in to A-1 looking to rent a car for 1 day. He only had 2 cars but that was fine for $59.00 a day $280.00 deposit! 😕.. Ok so then he throws out that all together it will be $565.00 out the door with only getting $280.00 back. How is that? I'm pretty good with math and that didn't calculate right. Even for 2 days that wouldn't be right. Why try robbing your customers? Times are hard for everyone. Shame!!

Bob was very nice in giving me an awesome discount and allowing me due to my not knowing about the deposit, to still rent the car. The only glitch was the car they gave me had a broken tail light which they knew about and did not tell me, dent in the front and the air bag system was not serviced and it smelled like smoke. Other than that, it was good.

This was the only place that would rent me a car with cash plus the owner himself picked me up. I got all my deposit back. Had no issues with them at all. Plus I was given extra miles. Thank you for the great experience with renting a car.

This place has major issues...I called an ad on offer up about car for sell, I went down to look and decided I wanted to buy, but I had forgotten my license, so to hold the car they asked for deposit. I went to get my I'd and my dad got gravely sick so I didn't go back that day. I thought the hold deposit would keep the car for me, I came back on third day, and they had sold the car I had a deposit on, and had no others. They told me they are keeping my deposit money unless I came up with another 800 dollars to put down on car they will get in a week. Mind you I had no way to work everyday. They get an auction car and tell me to come to get it, but it's a car I would never drive or want,but I go down thinking we were doing same deal as before, I was wrong. So I left again with no car or money back. I am still trying to get my money from this place that did nothing to date to earn it except to swipe my ATM.....the owner Bob is the one who made all this happen.
IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND HAVE TO GO TO SMALL VLAIMS COURT --THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU ,OTHERWISE ID ADVISE TO DTAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE! IF THEY MAKE GOOD ILL LET YOU KNOW!!!!

These people have no shame scamming customers please stay very far away from this place if you see good reviews its because its people that work there all cars are junk owner is shady and disrespectful! Learned my lesson never again my case is pending!!

I just had a bad dealing at this store. Im trying my best not to be upset. But I feel cheated out of my money... $330 rental Now $100 out of my deposit for mileage. The van ac did not work and we started with only a half tank of gas. I accepted the flaws cuz I was told 400 miles will be added to my trip so I didnt get charged for mileage . I picked up the van Friday evening at a auto body shop ..I departed from Bakersfield 6am Saturday and returned the van at 7pm Saturday (same day)....i was billed over 800miles.... Lompoc California is only 180 miles away no way I racked up 800 miles of traveling and make it back in Bakersfield before the sun is down. They took $100 for my deposit and argued with me about the van upkeep. I will no longer bring my business to this place. HORRIBLE
