What an amazing place. The river store and Dan-the owner- has built an awesome community around being on the river. The store itself has everything you need to get out and have a good time. What I find most awesome are the great potlucks, sales, and dealer events that these guys put on. You feel like family when you go here, especially during those events where you can enjoy great food and company and pick up some awesome gear. This is like the Miguel’s pizza of whitewater.

Was just browsing the store while one of our group was shopping for a pfd. She found just what she was looking for and was very happy with the selection. While I was browsing, I found a great shirt. Ran the American River Triathlon today. Totally spaced and didn't bring a life preserver. They gave me one for free so I could participate (they didn't have to do that). Good people. I'll only rent from them if i'm on the river
