I scheduled an appointment to bring my vehicle in for a routine oil change. Due to a cold snap, my vehicle was predictably throwing codes that are indicative of a lower voltage battery causing many electronic systems in the car to throw error codes despite remaining fully functional. Included in these codes was a potential emissions system problem, which I expected. After vehicle intake I was upsold a diagnostic related to the emissions error. Out of an abundance of precaution I agreed, as these codes may also be present separate of the cold effects on Honda batteries. A service representative then quoted me a full replacement of an engine component totaling over $1500 after codes pulled from the vehicle indicated a potential engine error. I asked the service technician to verify the timestamps on the accepted HondaCare list, as if they were older than 48 hours (the onset of cold temperatures), then the codes would have a timestamp before the ambient temperature change. No follow-up occured until time of payment for the labor and oil change. The explanation provided was that the error codes were not confirmed by HondaCare, and therefore were erroneous. I am disappointed that service technicians did not accept customer feedback on the potential nature of the electronic malfunctions, and that a costly service was offered FIRST before CONFIRMING validity of the service through all means necessary. Including a printed report. I left without complaint. I did not seek a refund at the time for the diagnostic which totaled near $100, as I expected a professional analysis and peace of mind. Instead I was treated to upcharges including ones that were eliminated by the most common fix to this common error during cold temperatures - driving for an extended period. I trust the professional opinion of maintenance personnel, but not those responsible for engaging in predatory sales tactics for a common issue that was solved by power cycles and driving. I will not be returning after being a customer for 2.5 years.

Had a very good purchasing experience with Seth Stewar at Russell Honda. Seth was very relatable and talked plainly with both my wife and I about what he could and couldn’t do for trade-in, financing, etc. Best part was being able to reach him for even smaller questions about trim and add-ons that were different from the Honda Website that saved us a few extra hundred dollars. Highly recommend and will look for Seth again on the next purchase for my kid.

I started a new chapter of my life today and bought my first car. I was both excited and nervous since this was my first time going through this process. From the day I reached out online to when we were ready to drive it off the lot Wilbur and Ronnye were a huge help! These gentlemen helped me get everything in order prior to the sale date and provided me with a very positive and smooth experience when it came to purchasing a car. If you are buying a Honda, Russell Honda is the place to go. It was a longer drive but worth every mile. I had a wonderful, no-pressure, no-hassle experience. Salesman David Gober was absolutely wonderful and able to answer all my questions. My experience at Russell Honda was the complete opposite of my previous experience with a different Honda dealership closer to my home. I love my new Honda CR-V and highly recommend Russell Honda and David Gober. I will definitely buy from them again in the future.

We had the best car buying experience we’ve ever had at Russell Honda. Our salesperson, Herman McDade made sure we understood all the features of our CR-V. He took extra care to make sure we were satisfied. We also had a great experience finishing our purchase with Carlos in the finance office. If I could give more than 5 stars to the dealership, Herman and Carlos, I would!
